It's ok - wouldn't buy again
I like how light this moisturizer is, and have been such a fan of the sunscreen. I really don't like the smell though- to me it sort of smells like onions. It doesn't stop me from using it (since I already have it and paid for it), but I am on the lookout for a new, clean smelling moisturizer

Pretty Good So Far
I originally purchased this moisturizer as part of the kit. The size was laughable so I returned for the full size. I like how light and quickly this moisturizer absorbed into my face. I have combination skin (oily, dry, acne prone) and needed something that didn't feel heavy during the day. I especially like that this isn't scented and hasn't contributed to any breakouts.

Too light
It's nice but very light. I would use this more like a serum. I am combination skin with oily t-zone and dry cheeks and this would not be hydrating enough on its own. Would recommend for oily or normal skin types

excellent product
I like this Elta MD product, and I also like Elta MD sunscreens. All are effective, gentle, and light on the skin. None are greasy. I've been happy with Elta MD for several years and have often recommend Elta MD products.

Stinky but effective
So the first things to address are texture and "scent". Texture wise it's more fluid like than a cream moisturizer or gel cream. It's slightly thicker than a serum, more so a hydrating serum consistency. It doesn't have that instant absorption factor like the AM moisturizer does. This is more replenishing in nature so that makes sense. The smell... pungent to put it politely lol. So if you've used the eye serum before, you know the smell. That's much accredited to a few of the ingredients in common. It probably smells like fermented rice if I had to label it, which makes sense if you read over the ingredients. Does it stick around, not really, it does fade after a while. I think it really helps brighten the skin tone and give you a healthy glow (I dig a dewy complexion). I use the UV Clear which can be a little matte so it was nice to see the combination balance that out. Am I completely sold on this, maybe not for twice a day use, particularly in summer. Also, I know I personally developed a little sensitivity to the eye serum after extended use. If you have reactive skin, make sure to spot test a few times and slowly incorporate. Usually if a product irritates the skin it's either the product itself or your lipid barrier is experiencing degradation. If allll Of your usual items are doing that, it's your skin having issues most likely so back off the concentrated formulas and give your skin a break!

So far so good
It has a serum-like consistency, which I really like because it glides on skin smoothly. I've only used it for a couple times and I'm already thinking about replacing my AM therapy with this. One "flaw" would be the awful smell, it's strong and repulsive I don't know which ingredient it is that's making this smell so bad. If you don't mind(like me), this is something you should try.
