EltaMD Moisturizer delivers long-lasting moisture to bring relief to dry, peeling and flaking skin. The soothing formula seals in moisture and protect sensitive skin conditions including eczema and sunburns. It also helps promote skin healing after chemical peels and laser treatments. For extra moisture replenishment, it can be used at night.
Apply daily to moistened skin. Apply a thin coat to the skin and allow to penetrate the skin layers. After two minutes, gently pat off excess. Use sparingly, begin with no more than the size of a pearl on your fingertip.

I purchased this product to help fight my dry winter skin - it did just that! It's a non-greasy light moisturizer that I apply at night and in the morning you can notice a difference of a much-hydrated face. I've also used on my hands, which is great! So, in a way, 2-for-1.

Healed My Dry Skin
I've struggled with dry, flaky patches on my face that get irritated easily and require lots of moisturizing. I like to use this product at night because it is so moisturizing and thick. It will make your skin look greasy if you try to use it for day time but you can blot off the excess after a few minutes of absorption. My dry patches have improved significantly with just a couple weeks of use.

I started a prescription retinol for my acne and subsequently developed the Sahara desert landscape on my skin. I couldn't even wear make up. After just two night time uses, my skin was perfectly moisturized and back to my normal. Better yet, it didn't make me breakout! A little bit goes a long way. A pea size amount is perfect for my skin. Washes off easily in the morning. I haven't worn this during the day or under makeup. I don't think I would chose to because it has a greasy/glossy texture and effect.

This is a petroleum-based product. I only use it on my elbows, knees, and hands. It is very moisturizing and absorbs easily if you use just the right amount.

Nice But Hard to Get Used To
I like this moisturizer, it's very light and melts into your skin. But because it's a bit like vaseline, you can feel it on your skin a little always, and it doesn't feel like it gets completely absorbed. It does make my skin very soft if I use it as a night cream.

Non Greasy!
I have somewhat sensitive skin and use a tretinoin gel daily. My skin tolerates the retinoid well, with the exception of one area near my mouth. I use this in the morning and under my tretinoin gel in the evening. It helps keep the area around my mouth moisturized and amazingly does not make me greasy. I will continue to use and will order more.
