EltaMD Moisturizer delivers long-lasting moisture to bring relief to dry, peeling and flaking skin. The soothing formula seals in moisture and protect sensitive skin conditions including eczema and sunburns. It also helps promote skin healing after chemical peels and laser treatments. For extra moisture replenishment, it can be used at night.
Apply daily to moistened skin. Apply a thin coat to the skin and allow to penetrate the skin layers. After two minutes, gently pat off excess. Use sparingly, begin with no more than the size of a pearl on your fingertip.

Nice moisturizer
I purchased this on the recommendation of a friend. She loves this moisturizer. I like it but it is not my absolute favorite. The difference is that I am older than the friend who recommended it and therefore have different needs. Would be great for someone under 40. Footnote: it is a little greasy so use a very small amount and let it soak in.

Good for dry skin!
I recently moved to Colorado and my skin got SO dry! It started peeling and flaking and getting irritated by my other moisturizer. This moisturizer has been good and it doesn't irritate my skin at all. It's kind of an odd consistency but I still like it. I only use it at night so I'm not sure how it would be under makeup.

Great for very dry skin
This can be a tiny bit greasy at first but absorbs into dry skin nicely. I have used it on my face in the evening, neck and hands. Great for dry winter skin!

Great for certain occasions
Typically I use this when Im using treatments that can be drying or sensitizing. Can be greasy if you use too much but once you get the amount down, its pretty great. I cant use everyday but comes in handy. Maybe in the winter Ill reach for it more often.

Still getting used to it
I was skeptical about this product given the ingredients list, but I gave it a try because the reviews are good. I like that it "melts" and is a more spreadable consistency than pure petroleum jelly. The directions say to apply it, leave on for two minutes, and then dab off excess, but I feel like when I do this, it doesn't moisturize enough and I am still left with dry patches. On the other hand, if I don't follow the directions and just leave it on, I tend to get some clogged pores (I am very acne-prone). I think it does help with my dry, flaky skin, so I will continue to use it and see if I can find a happy medium in terms of how much I apply. I also like that it is fragrance-free.

It didnt much absorb my first try, but seemed to reduce some flaking on the nose. I like the absence of scent, and will continue to combine with more refined and less thick products to test it out.

I used this for a night time moisturizer. This will be great for when I start swimming because it looks like petroleum jelly but absorbs and leaves a light layer on the skin. If you are dried out from chlorine or sunlight this is a great moisturizer.
