EltaMD Moisturizer delivers long-lasting moisture to bring relief to dry, peeling and flaking skin. The soothing formula seals in moisture and protect sensitive skin conditions including eczema and sunburns. It also helps promote skin healing after chemical peels and laser treatments. For extra moisture replenishment, it can be used at night.
Apply daily to moistened skin. Apply a thin coat to the skin and allow to penetrate the skin layers. After two minutes, gently pat off excess. Use sparingly, begin with no more than the size of a pearl on your fingertip.

I bought this because I use Retinal-A and it dries out my skin. I usually love Elta products but this is just an overpriced aquaphor. It didn't help my skin much but I did enjoy stacking it on my moisturizer. Save your money and skip on this product.

I was wondering why such a reasonable price and it is because it is basically just petroleum. Great to add on top of moisturizer to seal in moisture. Feel like I need something else for more anti aging properties.

Follow the instructions on the back on how to apply. I use it to sandwich my 1.0 retinoid cream. It doesn't have any alcohol or any other skin irritants. If my skin is too sensitive, I apply it at night and then I cleanse my face in the morning with micellar water and then a mild toner. It has never cause any breakouts on my combination skin.
