EltaMD Moisturizer delivers long-lasting moisture to bring relief to dry, peeling and flaking skin. The soothing formula seals in moisture and protect sensitive skin conditions including eczema and sunburns. It also helps promote skin healing after chemical peels and laser treatments. For extra moisture replenishment, it can be used at night.
Apply daily to moistened skin. Apply a thin coat to the skin and allow to penetrate the skin layers. After two minutes, gently pat off excess. Use sparingly, begin with no more than the size of a pearl on your fingertip.

Overpriced Vaseline
I ordered this product after reading EltaMD's description and it sounded like exactly what I was looking for. Only thing I failed to do was look at the ingredients. This is basically Vaseline and goes on extremely greasy. The greasiness stays and doesn't absorb in.

Great Product For Several Uses
I have used this product for several years now. It is a superior lubricant and sensitive skin ointment which can be used on many areas of the body including those "personal" areas where it can serve as a silky smooth skin irritation reliever as well as a very effective neutral and balanced lubricant for sexual activities as well. Completely non-toxic in semi-internal usage and unlike completely "water based" lubricants needs no additional applications and continues to offer smooth and effective lubrication. Further, any residue can easily be washed from hands and it leaves no stains behind.

Petroleum Jelly in a jar
This product does so much moisturize skin as create a barrier between the skin and the outside world. If you were going to be skiing in freezing weather, it would be a great protector. Comments such as "a little goes a long way" are true. After using it at night, I had to use soap to get the grease off in the morning-water just beaded on my skin. This feels and looks like petroleum jelly colored with something to make it look white. It is not an expensive moisturizer, but you can save yourself some money by just buying a tube of Vaseline.

The perfect moisturizer!
I have discovered my holy grail of moisturizers! I love this because it is mild on my skin, but still provides the moisture I need without irritating my skin. best mositurizer - skin feels like buttah!
I wish they made a big vat of this for purchase instead of 3.8 oz size. My boyfriend tells me my skin feels like velvet - he doesn't know this is my secret weapon. I use it all over my body - my legs, arms, face. Im using Retin A so my face is super dry and this helps. I also have a cold and my poor nose is sore and dry and cracked - this stuff is amazing. i can't love it any more. It does go on shiny - so for arms and legs its great - but save the face until you get home or at night - or take a tissue layer and pat in over your face to get rid of the shine if it bothers you or you have meetings. LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff!

My wonder face cream
My dermatologist fixed up a mixture containing elta for me to try and repair years of sun damage and would-be skin cancers. I found your site and ordered the cream. It has done wonders for my skin, even removing wrinkles. I love the moist oily feel when I apply it and then after a few minutes only the moist supple skin remains. I was so excited to of found this intense moisturizer because it is such a good value, it says it's good for all skin types and it's made by Elta MD but it is def not for me. Initially I only applied it to a few spots on my face that were real dry and they turned red and bumpy. I thought it was due to the dryness alone and thought those areas needed more moisturization. The next evening I put it all over my face and neck and was wakened at 2 AM by a red, blotchy, itchiness everywhere that I put it. I got out of bed to wash it off and it helped reduce some of the discomfort immediately but not all of it of course. So surprised that this happened because I love their sunblocks so much.
