EltaMD Moisturizer delivers long-lasting moisture to bring relief to dry, peeling and flaking skin. The soothing formula seals in moisture and protect sensitive skin conditions including eczema and sunburns. It also helps promote skin healing after chemical peels and laser treatments. For extra moisture replenishment, it can be used at night.
Apply daily to moistened skin. Apply a thin coat to the skin and allow to penetrate the skin layers. After two minutes, gently pat off excess. Use sparingly, begin with no more than the size of a pearl on your fingertip.

best moisturizer ever
My husband went thru radiation treatment for cancer. He used the moisturizer and even the nursing staff were amazed by the condition of his skin when he was done with treatments. We tried normal skin care products and nothing compared.

Perfect for Retinol users
I'm acne prone and use the 1.0 retinol from Obagi for fine lines and acne and this is perfect on top of it at night. I get oily, a tiny layer of this is perfect at night or in the morning if there are flakes around the mouth and chin from the retinol. I've only been using for a few days but it hasn't broken me out. Let the product kinda melt on your fingers before you apply or yes, it may feel like Vaseline but once it's on with a thin layer it stays moisturized. No fragrance or unnecessary ingredients that may sting after applying on top of peeling flaky skin- so far so good.

Disappointed by ingrediants
I bought this as a recommendation for eczema. However I was disappointed to see this is a petroleum product. Not what I want to be putting on my face.

Great for super dry skin
I have extremely dry skin, especially in the winter. This moisturizer is perfect at night. Warning - it looks and feels like Vaseline. So it's super greasy but I love the hydrating feeling.

Very thick and greasy
I guess it would work for somebody in winter climate. Not too much for those in the south. It was very thick, greasy, heavy. Not favorite. We ended up using it for heels and elbows :)

Not Vaseline
The package does say petroleum, but it is not like Vaseline. It is not heavy and thick like Vaseline. It is light weight, soothing, and absorbs into the skin. Its a great after retinoids, there is no burning to sensitive skin. I use tinted moisturizer or light makeup over it. I learned about this product after receiving samples from the dermatologist.

Super great moisturizer
This is not a light cream by any means. It's a heavy, salve type moisturizer. I like it for fresh tattoos, bug bites and for cracking heels or knuckles. It's wonderful.
