So far so great
I've suffered from eczema since I was a child, and it migrated to my face in my 20s. Decided to finally invest more in skincare because I was tired of frequently relying on prescription medications to fight flare ups and work on preventing them. I'm about 1.5 weeks in to using this daily AM and PM and have seen improvements in my skin. It feels soft, the rough textures have faded, and I have not yet had another flare up. Hoping this trend continues. It does have a slight scent to it during application but fades away pretty quickly. I do not like scents/fragrances whatsoever, and this was definitely tolerable/barely noticeable.

rosacea flare up
I wanted to like this product but it made my rosacea flare up. I have been controlling my rosacea very well by using soolantra and mild cleanser and hydrating products. My skin looks almost perfect. I decided to give this product a try as a night cream. First few days into trying, my rosacea around mouth started to show. I thought it was something I ate that caused it. But it continued even when I tried to control my food. I realized it might be this cream. Stopped using for one night and switched to PCA collagen cream. Waking up next day with 95% redness gone. I love all the ingredients in this cream but the AHA and enzyme percentage might be more than what it claims to be. It is hydrating but not worth it for rosacea skin.

Fantastic moisturizer
Goes on smooth and makes my skin feel so soft. I live at 9,000 ft and spend a ton of time outside soaking up the sun so my skin is always dry. I have this on auto-ship and on my 3rd bottle. Effective nighttime moisturizer
I have dry, acne-prone, eczematic skin and find that this moisturizer is quite suitable for keeping my skin looking healthy. I prefer this at night over Elta MD PM Therapy, which has been irritating. After I was prescribed Aklief (trifarotene), I found this moisturizer began to sting for a few seconds upon application; it has still been effective and has not been irritating.

I started using Elta MD Barrier Renewal Complex at my daughter-in-law's (she is a dermatology PA) suggestion when I was asking her about skin products. I love it- it keeps my skin which tends to be dry, soft and pliable but is not at all greasy feeling. I use it morning and night along with daytime Elta MD UVSport Broad-Spectrum SPF 50 as I have horses and am in the Colorado sunshine a lot!! Great skin product!
