Great product, worth the money
Barrier Renewal Complex is a terrific product. It has a light cream texture, goes on smoothly and leaves to a soft, non-greasy finish. It absorbs well and goes under foundation perfectly. EltaMD Barrier Renewal Complex is fragrance-free, paraben-free, sensitivity-free and noncomedogenic. I don't typically pay this much for a moisturizer, but I love this product and use it twice daily.

I might have finally found the cure for my skin
My skin started to become very dry as I age, granted I never had to worry about acne when young, so it's never oily I guess. Recently I've constantly had red bumps on my face out of blue, and seem to be allergic to sun - in early spring after sun exposure the entire face will become red and swollen, though it was ruled out by a biopsy. At certain time of the month the entire face would be flaky, and an entire layer seems to shed. In a word, anything could trigger a breakout, and all my dermatologists would say was that I had eczema, and I tried everything possible. I've long suspected I have some kind of ceramide deficiency, so when someone mentioned this product I thought I should give it a try - after all, I tried so many other products. I've used it about a month, and it has done wonders - I didn't have the monthly "flaky" face this time, no red bumps so far. It's not moisturizing enough at this point, I guess because my barrier layer is not strong enough yet, so I apply a thin layer of Egyptian Magic afterwards. I'll update after some more time. Hopefully my lengthy comment will help someone with similar issues. I've already recommended to a male waiter yesterday who noticed my skin and said it was much better than last time he saw me when I had red bumps all over. He said he had similar problem.

Heals skin
I bought this for its nianicimide content and used it haphazardly on my face for a couple of weeks (mostly due to laziness). But my hands got so dry and cracked with the winter air that I used it as a hand cream - my hands healed up in a couple of days. I have never had that happen before, usually hand creams provide temporary relief at best. So now I'm more consistent using it on my face. It is a good moisturizer though a tad heavy for my preference. I don't suddenly look ten years younger but considering how my hands responded, I'm confident it will have positive long term effects.
