Wash the day away with Dr. Loretta's Gentle Hydrating Cleanser. Crafted with a sulfate-free formula, this calming cleanser removes makeup and impurities without stripping the skin of any natural oils. Suitable for normal to dry, sensitive and post-procedure skin.

Just ok, maybe better for oilier skin
Review title says it all. I used this as the second step in my double-cleanse over the summer, re-purchased for some reason even though I thought the pricing was a little absurd and I didn't like how there isn't any way to discern whether the bottle is empty or not. Also the lather situation is kind of tricky meaning if you use too little product, it won't lather correctly, but if you use just a tiiiiiiiny bit more than too little, its an enormous foam bomb. Couldn't figure out how to manage that. Was too drying for my sensitive combo skin type anyway...smells great, though.

Gentle and hydrating
I love this cleanser because my skin feels soft and clean after using it. I always do an oil cleanse or a micellaire water before using it just to make sure all of my makeup comes off first, but this face wash has never once made my skin feel tight or burn - even around my eyes or while using retinol. It also doesn't have niacinamide which is really important to me since that's an ingredient that I'm very sensitive to. I am so in love with this cleanser and I'm excited to try the rest of the line!

Very Gentle
I have been using this and find it a great in the shower cleanser. It has an odd smell, and I find myself thinking about what it would taste like when I smell it. I know that is odd, but it bothers me a bit. Wish it had no scent. It is super gentle. My skin reacts to everything. No issues except the scent. But for me it is also nothing super special. It does not remove all of my make up, so for an in the shower cleanser, it is great.

Gentle and clean
This cleanser is a gentle gel type of cleanser that does a great job of cleaning my face, whether I am wearing makeup or not. It has a light non-invasive scent that is nice. It doesn't take much at all either, so it will last. My face feels so soft and smooth after using this. I have definitely found my HG face wash!

Nice jelly-textured face wash
I've been looking for a replacement for my all time favorite gel face wash. This is a nice not overly foaming face wash and has a simple ingredient list. The texture is interesting- it's a super slick jelly consistency that feels fun to wash with. I can feel the ginger warming my face, but I have sensitive skin so your mileage may vary. It's not drying in summer but I have a feeling it might be a touch drying in harsher winter weather. Overall this is a solid gel foaming cleanser and a solid face wash for most skin types.
