Great Spa Like Quaility
I've never bought another steamer so I don't have much to compare this too other than the one that they roll over with the magnifying glass at spas. I use this once a week before I shave, placing the foam canister in a mug of hot water while I steam so that when I'm done I keep my face warm to get a great shave without irritation. I add two drops of sandalwood oil and it works great (despite that I couldn't find any information about adding oils - but I'll be safe and just stick to this one). Since I am targeting the lower face and neck this is perfect for me but find that it is hard to steam my forehead without getting my nose too hot so that may be an issue for some (that maybe a draped towel could fix). It does seem to project the steam in a slow, clockwise motion that can only be noticed without airflow.

It lasts about 6 minutes and there's no sputtering. Make sure to use distilled water so it doesn't damage the machine. Also make sure you follow the instructions about drying the machine and pouring out the excess water. The stream goes far so you don't have to put your face so close to the machine.

I think it was worth the price- because I didn't want to risk buying a cheap steamer from Ulta that you can put any water in and it breaks after two days. This steamer works. I used it everyday for a week when I first got it- and I had major blackheads on my nose. Blackheads gone by the end of the week. I did extractions with every steam, but anyone with blackheads knows that they just return the next day. But when I woke up on the 7th days, my nose was completely clear-before I even washed it. In conclusion, you get what you pay for, use distilled water so you don't break this machine and see how it goes.

Worth every penny!
This product has been a game changer for me. I hesitated at first because of the price, but it was well worth the splurge.
