DRx Blemish Solutions ™ Clarifying Mask (formerly known as Dr. Dennis Gross Acne Solutions Clarifying Colloidal Sulfur) features a kaolin clay base that draws out dirt, oil and other impurities without causing dryness or irritation. Powered by colloidal sulfur, this facial mask penetrates deep into your skin to neutralize acne-causing bacteria, while bentonite absorbs excess oil. Extracts of prickly pear, willowbark, rosemary and licorice root calm inflammation and minimize pores while vitamin A reduces future breakouts.
Cleanse skin thoroughly before applying and apply a thin layer to the affected area one to three times daily. Leave on for 10 minutes, then rinse. May be worn overnight & washed off in morning. Suitable for use on face, chest and back. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce frequency of application.

I have heard and read so many amazing things about Dr. Dennis Gross skincare, specifically this mask. I must say that it indefinitely lives up to its name! I used it once and noticed a significant difference and continued and kept seeing my skin firming and pores shrink after usage. I had one flare up on my forehead and I applied mask directly on it, left it overnight and the next day it was practically gone.

This really works!
I recently bought this during the Dermstore holiday sale... I'm 54 years and still suffer from cystic acne from time to time. Currently, I have ONE pesky and large acne cyst and a pimple. When this arrived yesterday, the cyst was really swollen and the also inflamed pimple was ready to come to a head. I resisted the urge to tackle the pimple with my extraction tool and decided to give this a try overnight at drying it up. It worked to reduce the swelling in the cyst and dried out the pimple. I feel better about extracting it now but may use one more day to see if it dries up a bit more so I don't risk scarring. I used this as a spot treatment and it worked!

Strong and helps clear inflammation
Sulfur seems to work for my skin to calm down immediate inflammation whenever I am breaking out. This product has quite a bit of sulfur in it so I find it effective, though as for most other sulfur-containing products, it does not smell super lovely. Great for acne-prone skin! I found it strong but not strong enough to make my skin condition worse.

Works At First...Then Doesn't
I got this product in the hopes of clearing up some pesky and persistent acne around my mouth. I used it as an overnight mask a few times a week, as instructed. Pro: -This product doesn't dry out my face, even when used as an overnight mask. Cons: -You can still smell the sulfur even after you wash your face. This isn't a huge issue for overnight use, but I don't understand how people use it during the day to even out pores. You would wreak of rotten eggs! -While this helped to clear up some acne on the first couple uses, my skin quickly adjusted and the mask lost its efficacy. Now I just use this as a spot treatment occasionally if I'm hoping to clear up a zit. I'm really not sure if it helps clear it up any faster or not, but I'm outside of the return window at this point. -Oh, the delivery system of the product can get annoying after a while. You have to push down on the top to get the product to come out a tiny hole, but sometimes the hole gets clogged with the product and you have to poke it with a toothpick or needle.
