Fine gloss and conditioner
I would say a fair product description is that its a nice deep conditioner and hair gloss which deposits the most minimal amount of color. I'm a natural auburn redhead. I used 1/3 of the bottle on my first application. I'll finish out the bottle but I don't plan on re-ordering bc I was looking for a product that colors my hair.

I like it, it works
I used dark brown to tone down my balayage and worked well. It can be messy especially if you get a dark color. I didn't notice a huge difference in shine.

Unique product
I'm on my second bottle! This procduct really enhances my straberry blonde hair, definitely brings out the red. I use it about once a week to keep my color looking bright. Much cheaper than getting a gloss at a salon. Washes out completely in 4 or 5 shampoos. I wish it was a little more moisturizing because my hair is SUPER dry, but I use a deep conditioner with it and it's fine.

Poor Results
I applied this gloss evenly, with help from my friend, and left on for 20 minutes as suggested. It colored my hair inconsistently and left it bright pink rather than the colors suggested from the guide. Would not use again.

Not Dark Enough
I used this on my medium brown hair to get a darker rich color. Unfortunately, I did not see any change in my hair color after leaving this on for 20 minutes. It did condition my hair but I did not see the results I wanted. I purchased the black color and it surprisingly worked much better!

Perfect for Brunettes to go Darker
dpHUE gloss in black is perfect for brunettes who want to go darker. I have medium brown hair with lighter brown at the ends. I wanted to make the ends darker but still to look brown instead of black. This color did exactly what I needed it to do. After one use, my hair was dark brown and uniform in color.

How to make this work for those with some gray hairs
I marked down a star because this really wasn't 'conditioning' but has other redeeming factors. How I used this to cover up gray hair - mostly around the temples and a few scattered places around my head: mix several pumps of this in a plastic hair coloring bowl with some conditioner, you still want the dpHUE product to be thicker than the conditioner. Apply to your temples and really gray areas with a hair dye brush (you can get these super cheap at Sallys Beauty or elsewhere) and allow it to sit for a good 15 minutes. Apply the rest of the dpHUE and conditioner mix to the rest of your hair while wearing gloves and allow it to sit for another 10 minutes or so and rinse out, ensure the water is clear before leaving the shower or it will run and stain everything else. Wearing gloves is so important! This stuff will stain your hands and your shower/tub, but it will eventually rinse off. I found Barkeepers Friend helps with the sink and tub to remove. To maintain I would apply and pump or two of this in with my regular conditioner during any wash afterwards to just upkeep. Note - for the gray hair, at least for the medium brown shade, it makes the grays look more like highlights, or basically a really nice light brown shade, it won't make them really dark, but it still looks nice. I found I could do a longer application about once a month and just touch up in the shower every shampoo. I also sometimes would apply this product directly on my temples with a hair dye brush and allow it to sit for 15 minutes BEFORE showering/shampooing and that worked too. One bottle is expensive but it lasted me about 3 months.

Almost funny hair disaster
I have fine strawberry blonde hair, and I wanted to add more strawberry tones. I followed the instructions on the bottle and only left the product in for 10 mins (bottle says up 20) but I ended up with bright tangerine patches in my hair. It was so terrible I had to wear a hat on when I left the house and when I showed my husband he said "don't panic, you can get it fixed at the hairdresser". I did go to the hairdresser and she managed to (almost) cover it with a gloss but my hair is now brown! This was my first at home dye experience, so perhaps I did something wrong. But be careful!!!

Love This Product!
This gloss treatment is easy to use, smells nice and deep conditions. I found the results to be as good, if not better, than salon results at blending greys/silvers with light blond highlights. About 10 washings between uses is as described, now having used it twice. I will buy this again!

Gloss+ from dpHUE
To be honest I was surprised just how well this works. It also makes hair silky smooth and removes frizz.
