Put it on dry hair instead of damp. I left on 20 minutes and it made it quite Auburn. It also left it fairly shiny. Did impart a very nice color.

Just tried it the other day. I NEVER attempt to do anything with my baby fine and aging hair. Simple to use, and pretty much error-proof (I used a color as close to mine as I could). Washed and towel dried and applied and then worked through with a comb-out brush and waited for a bit. Worked like a charm.

It does deposit color into the hair as it states but the tone and depth of the color wasn't "dark brown". Definitely did the job in this corona time of me doing my hair, but much lighter than expected. A few notes, use gloves or have scrub nearby. Will definitely turn your hands brown.

SAVED my dull quarantine hair!
With the salons all closed due to COVID-19, my dark brown hair was fading fast. I opted to try this gloss to try to prolong what was left of my color and to hopefully conceal some grays. It did both! My hair is a lovely dark shiny brown and the grays are less prominent. My hair has life again! The pump and texture of the product made it easy to apply. Only con is that it does stain your hands but a good scrub and the prominent hand washing these days faded it quickly.
