Not sure if it's working
I've been using Cool Brunette Shampoo by dpHUE for a couple months now and I just don't know if it's working. I like the scent and the way it cleans my hair but I can't tell if it's taking out the warmth I have in my hair.

I Really Wanted to Love It
The smell is wonderful, and I'd buy something else in the brand hoping it would be the same, but I'd not get this again. It makes my hair feel pretty dry, and I don't think it's taken down the red/brassy tone out of my hair at all no matter how long I leave it in. It leaves the shower curtain stained blue, too, which isn't a big deal but it's just messy. It's fine, I'd try other things by dpHue, but don't get your hopes up too much.

Takes the brass out!
I got cool dark brown highlights and it was lightening up and turning brassy after 3-4 months. I thought about going into the salon for treatment, but I remembered hearing blue shampoo fixes any orange/brassy tones for brunette hair so I researched online and saw this was a top recommendation. Didn't tone as much as intended
I was hoping I could use this between salon visits and remove some of the orange creeping into my hair (it's naturally dark brown and lifted via balayage) but I didn't notice a tremendous difference, even when applying on dry hair and leaving for 15 minutes. Happily, even though it's highly pigmented, the color doesn't stain the bathroom tile or my hands. It's also not too drying but it didn't work as I intended.
