Really appreciate the lighter weight
I've loved the original version for a long time, but it was just a little too heavy for my fine hair. I get great results with this one. Maybe a little less shine, but it's a tradeoff I'll take.

Pricey but great
I have fine hair that gets oily quickly, and have been experimenting for years to find the right shampoo for me - I have found that typical shampoos strip my hair, so it feels super light and fluffy after wash day and then gets greasy and weighed down soon after. I had used a cleansing conditioner but found that it was very difficult to work through my roots, since my hair tangles easily especially when wet. Although a cleansing conditioner did better at cleaning the hair without stripping, I wanted to try the dcHUE Apple cider vinegar next and I’m so glad I did. Although it is expensive, a little goes a long way for me so I feel like it is worth it. The effect is similar to the cleansing conditioner, but the application process is much simpler since the product is a liquid that more easily is scrubbed through my hair’s root area than a thick cream would. It took me some time to figure out how much product I needed to use each wash, but I’m very happy after some trial and error. I do want to note that this product is not going to properly cleanse certain things from your hair as it’s just not strong enough to get rid of something like a pomade, or address hair that is weighed down from minerals/salt when I go swimming in fresh water or the ocean. I therefore do rotate a more typical shampoo in my routine only as needed when something thick, waxy, or stubborn needs to be cleansed out. Ultimately I feel like it helps protect my hair from breakage caused my frequent shampooing, but it’s not going to fully replace the need for a stronger shampoo.
