I have thick hair that creates a lot of build up and this helps clear out all the gunk. It's a bit a shock when you pour the liquid on your scalp because the hot shower and room tempature rinse ends up feeling cold on your head.

I've used this a few times and did notice my hair felt cleaner after washing out. I have colored hair and was worried about it changing the tone but it didn't seem to have any effect on that. My only complaint is it's pretty runny/watery.
