A dream for dyed hair and dandruff (but pricey)

This rinse is BOMB, it improved my scalp health and keeps my dyed red hair bright. My hair is long (about 7" past my shoulders) and very fine, but there's A LOT of it. My roots tend to get greasy quickly but the rest of my hair doesn't. I can't wash my hair every day bc the red dye would wash out too quickly (I'm too lazy to wash it every day anyway), and before using dpHUE's ACV Rinse, I couldn't go longer than 2 days without washing my hair bc my scalp got itchy and dandruffy, and dry shampoo just worsened the white flakes. I started using dpHUE's ACV Rinse in place of shampoo every other time I washed it (basically 1-2x/week). The instructions say to apply it by making "a few small parts" in your hair with the tip of the bottle and "gently massage" it into your scalp. I do 4-5 parts, each running from my front hairline to the back, which applies enough product to massage into the top 2-3" of my hair. Since I've been using dpHUE's ACV Rinse... -My hair doesn't get greasy as quickly; -My scalp doesn't get so itchy and dandruffy; -I can go 3-4 days without washing my hair if I use a good dry shampoo; and -My red hair stays so bright that the water still runs pink after 4 weeks! I took off a star because... -I think the price is unreasonably expensive considering the amount and frequency you use it, the small size of the bottle ($35 for 8.5oz, or $29.75 for subscription), and the ingredients (nothing fancy, see attached photo). I use it once per week and one bottle lasts me about 5-6 weeks. I use high-end brands for all of my makeup, skin care, and hair products, and I can't think of a single other product I have that lasts less than 6 weeks. -The bottles are heavy duty and bad for the environment, even if you recycle. There's no reason for it; it could easily be offered in lower impact packaging or a bigger bottle for a higher price. Can you imagine using it daily, as recommended on the bottle - you'd go through 2-3 bottles a month!! Such a waste. Not to mention how much it would cost. -The consistency of the product makes it hard to tell if you're using too much or too little bc it doesn't foam, bubble, or lather; there's no color to it; it has no texture so you can't feel it; and it's watery so it doesn't stay put where you apply it, it just drips and runs down your head. Imagine applying/massaging water into your hair and that's what it's like. No joke. I would think it's easy to add something that gives the product a thicker consistency, like a gel, which would make it easier to track where the product is on your head and how much you use, and you can also feel the gel sliminess. It makes me think that dpHUE purposely keeps it watery bc you're more likely to use too much of it and use up the bottle faster (especially since we're all used to foamy shampoos and seeing/feeling where the product is on our heads). I've almost talked myself into removing a second star, but I really do love this product and highly recommend it. Some people complain about the smell, but it doesn't bother me and it goes away as soon as you rinse your hair.

great for the scalp

this product helps dry irritated scalps, I was afraid it would cause fall out as I don't trust products that easily but it doesn't disappoint

Awesome for my scalp

Somehow this stuff lathers well and makes my hair fed silky without the silicones and sulfates. I use it once a week in between my regular shampoo routine and love it.

Works well

Works well for build up. It doesn't lather or smell great, but the scent doesn't linger and I usually follow it up with a hair mask afterward anyway. I only use it once or twice a month and it works as advertised.

My new go-to product between shampoos

I love this product. I use it between shampoos. Hair feels clean! My favorite! Helps prevent my scalp from breaking out since I try not to wash my hair super often.
