Great product
This product works. It's light, very easy to apply, does what it claims and a little does go quite a long way. It's not going to hide larger wrinkles or scars but it does give a gentle "soft-focus" effect that helps even things out.

Product is very velvety but drying for combo skin
I read great reviews about this product. I got too worked up too fast. I was very excited to try it that i bought two, yes 2! Needless to say, I am not happy. It's very drying yet dewy. Let me explain. At first, it completely dries me out upon application and my makeup looks cakey and dry giving me an unattractive aged-look. BUT, halfway through the day, its very dewy, almost too dewy for comfort. I have had to buy blotting sheets and keep it in check since purchase. The only reason I've given it 3 stars is because of how smooth and soft it feels. Unfortunately, its too drying for combo skin. I will not repurchase.

an excellent primer
this truly does fit the description "powdery gel". it has a luxurious finish, and leaves no oiliness or shine. the best part is that it has very few ingredients or chemical additives-it's mostly just silicones and olive oil. no, this does not have an olive oil scent; it is unscented. for those of you who have poor vision like me, it does come out of the tube with a sightly opaque white color, so you can see what's going on your face, even though it's colorless after applying.

Good primer
This definitely controls oil and makes skin feel very smooth. While I'm not sure how successfully this product diminishes fine lines under matte foundation, it is a very nice primer.

Truly like velvet skin
I really like this primer. I got a sample in my beauty fix box and decided to purchase full size because it truly felt like velvet skin. I normally have dry skin, this primer doesn't seem to be moisturizing but it does a nice job of making my skin a nice canvas for my foundation. I can't say I love this primer and would wear it daily because I would benefit from a product that is more moisturizing or has better ingredient benefits, BUT I do really like this primer for when I just need a smooth velvet like skin for going out makeup.

Unfortunately I had an allergic reaction to this primer, but my friend has the same one and it works wonders for her dry skin. I would give it 5 if I didn't have a reaction to it.
