an adequate moisturizer
this is a lotion, not a cream. i would not call this a light or thin texture, it is more of a medium. it is hydrating without being heavy or oily, and is unscented

Smooth texture, lightweight
This Rich Moisture lotion by DHC has a premium feel, from packaging to the ingredients. In use, it's not a heavyweight lotion, but it's not marketed as such. I do have acne prone skin and worried the olive oil in the ingredients would break me out; this was not the case. It's one of the cleanest lotions I've found in regards to the ingredients. It doesn't have a bad scent and didn't irritate my skin. It's too lightweight for my use though, but could work for those looking for a lightweight face lotion.

Looks can be deceiving
This is a very thin, very light consistency and I did not have high hopes for it. I have grown to love it in a matter of days! It's unscented and lightweight and comes in a nice glass bottle with a good pump. It does say for normal to dry but it works great on my combo/oily skin. No breakouts or clogged pores, it's even helping re-hydrate my reactive skin from a new SPF!
