I'm not sure
I decided to purchase this soap because my skin started to become dry from what I was using. I never had this issue but am getting older and it is the winter so I decided to try this mild soap. While my skin is still dry after using, it isn't as dry. Surprisingly. This little soap lasts a very long time. I have been using it daily since Christmas and I still have a lot left.

The best face soap I've ever used - mild, gentle
Everything about this is great. I've suffered from pimples and imperfections for years since teenage years, but I've been using this ever since I went to Japan and I'm so glad they have it here. It's a mild formula that really cleanses your skin and makes it extremely soft. Go to Japan and see why everyone has such nice skin.
