I use this as my first step in double cleansing at night, followed by skin ceuticals acne wash. I have oily skin prone to adult acne and I need to be strict to keep the pimples at a minimum. I find this combination to be very effective. It does a good job removing makeup though I still need to use eye makeup remover, even for regular (not waterproof) mascara
