BUYING - finally!
After countless samples of this product from Dermstore :) I am finally ordering the largest size and plan to keep this as my staple. Not only does it strip away makeup, but it's moisturizing and your skin glows after use. I think the price point is right and it will help waste less cotton. Can't wait to get this!

Unbelievable product!
I purchased this product after receiving a sample with a Dermstore purchase during the winter, and realizing what a miracle skin savior this was! I intended to use this as a double cleansing face wash in my nightly regime, to remove makeup followed by Obagi Vitamin C Cleanser. I was pleasantly surprised that DHC Cleansing Oil successfully removed ALL of my makeup, without stripping or drying, including waterproof mascara! I have used the Josie Maran Cleansing Oil previously for double cleansing, and this feels much cleaner and zero residue, which was not the case for the Josie Maran. Additionally, the DHC bottle seems to be made better and doesn't leak. I have traveled with it, and had no issues. My skin type is oily/combination, so I was hesitant to use this at first, but upon the realization that "oil attracts oil", I had no reactions or issues. I have been using throughout the winter, spring and summer months and sometimes as a one step nightly cleansing when only removing SPF and love it. I can't emphasize enough how great this product is! Clean ingredients, and will also last a while. A little goes a long way!

My go-to makeup remover
I love DHC's cleansing oil and have been using 3-4 bottles per year for over ten years now. Over the years I've tried countless brands - but I always go back to DHC because it's the best, even the more expensive Japanese and Korean brands. I like that it smells like olive oil and is relatively unscented, and that it doesn't leave any greasy residue like some other oil cleansers. I rarely double-cleanse but sometimes I follow up with a non-foaming cleanser. It takes off all of my makeup, including waterproof mascara and black liquid eyeliner, as well as matte lip stains. As with any oil-based product, be sure to rinse thoroughly to avoid clogged pipes - I usually use this at night in the shower, but when I take my makeup off with something else my face doesn't feel as clean! Love this oil cleanser and will continue to repurchase.

This product is very gentle, barely has a smell(smells like oil and not like flowers or anything) and not so incredibly thick that you feel like you cant wash it off your face. It also doesnt irritate your eyes! It does a fine job removing face makeup, however does not remove waterproof mascara.

Dissolves makeup
I often use this in place of any makeup remover as it breaks up whatever is on my fave very well. Though this product doesn't necessarily leave a lot of residue I do like to double cleanse though, using a cream cleanser afterward is agreeable with my combo skin.
