DHC's bestselling, cult-classic Deep Cleansing Oil is truly one of a kind. The original Japanese first step oil cleanser melts away makeup and dissolves impurities, leaving your skin clean, soft and radiant.
The 100% organic olive-oil based formulation works on the scientific premise that "like attracts like." Applied with dry hands on your dry face, this rich, naturally golden-hued olive oil-based cleanser binds with dirt and effortlessly breaks down sunscreen, sebum and stubborn makeup, like waterproof mascara and eyeliner, without clogging your pores. The water-soluble formula rinses away with zero oily residue. Its silky feel and delicate, natural rosemary aroma make washing your face feel like a luxurious spa experience.
This botanical formulation features antioxidant-rich organic olive oil and vitamin E to hydrate, soften and protect, and rosemary leaf oil to invigorate and refresh. Also works great as a makeup brush cleaner.
Ideal for all skin types.
Remove the stopper attached to the pump. Dispense into dry hands, then massage onto dry face to dissolve makeup, dirt and other impurities. Rinse thoroughly.

I'm pleased
I absolutely love this facial oil. It removes make up residue and hydrates the skin. It is not drying or irritating to the skin.

the hype is real
I have tried a lot of cleansing oils from inexpensive to luxury. I've liked some, disliked others, most have been fine. This has been on my list to try next, and I'm glad it was. It takes everything off easily, is super gentle, doesn't sting my eyes at all, and rinses very clean. This is a new favorite.

Helps to remove zinc based sunscreen
I find this helpful to cleanse mineral sunscreen at the end of the day. It emulsifies a little better than pure olive, sesame, or coconut oil, and it costs about the same as organic oils.

What the dry??
This is my second review, now that it's been over six months. Like everyone else I raved how it removes Everything and sung its praises. I loved it. It's one stop shopping, followed by a quick foam wash or toner. But like a previous reviewer finally mentioned, this stuff strips EVERYTHING. Your natural oils are toast, it's incredibly drying. I bought this for the opposite purpose, to counter my other drying products ( use retin-a..)! I have very acne prone skin (I'm over 40), and I realized my cystic acne is way worse when I use this. I had a 2 month break recently and thought nothing to buy it again and Boom, breakout city and paper dry skin immediately. I dunno if it's the emulsifying chemicals or what, but something is unbelievably drying in this. Going back to the interim oil wash I was using that seemed to maintain a better balance. If you have very oily or normal skin it could work.

I keep coming back
I have tried other cleansing oils but I keep coming back to this one! It is the best at removing my makeup, even mascara. I use it as the first cleanse in my double cleanse routine. The price is great!

My Favorite Makeup Remover!
I don't wear makeup that often so this should last me at least 6 months. I only wear foundation (Bare Minerals Original Powder Foundation) and eyebrow pencil. It also takes off mascara. A little bit of this cleansing oil goes a long way. It removes all my makeup and does not leave an oily residue. I used to use Clinique Take Off the Day Cleansing Balm (which is also amazing) but it leaves a slight oily residue. I always follow up with a face wash afterwards. Does not cause acne or dry out my face.

Has become a staple product
I have been looking for an oil cleanser for a while and this is the fourth one I tried, and will continue to use. It is easy to wash off (I have tried some that are too oily and dont emulsify/turn milky to wash off) and my skin is nice and soft after, I don't have a problem with oily residue. I got a travel size first (in case I didn't like it, I didn't want to get stuck trying to finish a whole bottle) and kept the small bottle to refill for when I travel. New favorite product, will continue to purchase!
