Skin Care Staple
After reading these reviews I decided to try this cleanser out and I am in LOVE. I can't see myself ever removing this from my skincare routine. A lot of the comments criticized the smell but its scent is actually one of my favorite aspects of this cleaner. It smells and feels like massage oil, which is a nice break for your skin if you're using a lot of other products with strong ingredients and fragrances. I double cleanse starting with this and then I use a milk cleanser. And once a week I'll mix and exfoliant in with this cleanser. I live in Florida and nothing about this oil cleanser leads to my skin being overly oily. It takes all of my makeup off and soothes my reactive skin for the products to come.

Been using for years!
I've been ordering this directly from DHC for at least 10 years, way before the double cleanse caught on as a trend. This is heavier than some oils (yes I tried others as they became available, but always go back to the original), but I find it so much more effective and smoothing than others. No mineral oil, no fragrance in this bad boy!! Washes off cleanly, and skin is so soft. I've even used this on its own as a face wash on no makeup/no sunscreen days (I worked nights) and it washes off so completely, I still had great results even without a second cleanse. Many try but they will never come close to the original oil cleanser! BTW I have large pores and can be acne prone with irritating products. No irritation ever! You will not be disappointed! I recommend for every skin type!

Cleanse the day away
This removes all the makeup and oil at the end of the day! Smells great like pure olive oil. Seriously leaves no residue at all! I was shocked because every other oil cleanser I have tried has left some sort of oily or sticky residue behind. Works great for double cleansing, but works just as well as a standalone product. Love it.

Enjoying in cleansing routine
So far I love this product! Use as first cleansing product (in a 2 step cleanse) in the shower every night. It melts away makeup and feels nice. My husband has also been using it and it doesn't dry out his face like other cleansers. I don't know that it's made a huge difference in the look of my skin, but definitely is helping gently remove dirt and makeup. On its own might leave skin a little too oily. Would recommend trying and I would buy again.

Light complexion: keep an eye out for orange skin
I THINK it turns your face orange if you don't wash thoroughly..... Keep an eye on that if you buy! I noticed a little while line around my hairline where the rest of my skin was tan with an orange tint. My husband told me I looked like 'tan mom.' Does clean very well. Needs two washes if was wearing makeup (tinted moisturizer + mascara). Didn't notice added hydration, smoothness, or clarity as I would have expected. Probably will not buy again due to price and need to repeat wash. Also runs out fast. One pump shoots out fast bc it's basically olive oil
