A must have
I’ve used this cleansing oil for years, through oily, combination, and now dry skin, and I can’t be without it. I even buy it in the travel size so I always have it, and I recently gave it as a gift. It takes off all makeup, waterproof or otherwise, and leaves skin soft. I usually follow with a cleanser, knowing that those ingredients will be able to get to work faster, but sometimes I just use the oil.

My Favorite Oil Cleanser
I love this DHC oil for double cleansing and the price cannot be beat. I use this at night only. It helps dissolve the multiple layers of sunblock I use and if I’ve worn make up (incredibly rare), it does remove that as well. Please note I am referring to mascara and eye brow pencil, nothing more. I do not know if it removes foundation, but it does work on sunblock. A large bottle of this lasts around 6 months. you only need a pump to 1.5 pumps to cleanse your face and neck. i follow with a gentle cleanser and it is my favorite way to clean my face.

Favorite Cleansing Oil
This is my favorite cleansing oil that I have tried, and I also prefer it to cleansing balms and creams I have tried. To me, cleansing oils are better for makeup removal because I don't feel much friction with the skin when I rub to remove mascara/eyeliner. I like this cleansing oil because I feel that it's the most effective cleansing oil and also because I really enjoy the light olive scent. It is also the easiest cleansing oil/balm/cream that I've tried to remove - my skin feels clean and there is no residue after emulsifying. With many others, I feel that there is a thin film left on my skin or that a water-based cleanser should be used. On days when I wear less on my face (i.e. only sunscreen or no sunscreen), two pumps are sufficient for my face. It leaves my skin very soft and I've gotten my mother on this product as well.

I'm a long-time user of Farmacy's Green Balm for removing makeup. This oil does remove makeup, but requires a little more work to get the mascara off. Additionally, it feels and smells a little like olive oil. It's fine and does the job.
