Works well to get foundation off but not mascara, making this a decent part of your cleansing routine but not a one stop shop. There is no residue and my skin doesn't feel tight afterwards, but I can't say I've seen an overall improvement since switching to oil cleanser.

I was using the Tatcha Cleansing Oil and this cleanses just as well. It is also a lot cheaper than the Tatcha one. The only thing I don't like is the smell because it's made with olive oil. I will still continue to buy it thought,the smell is not a deal breaker for me!

Effective and therapeutic
The sunscreen that works best for me is unfortunately very tacky and sticky, and other cleansers have not succeeded in removing it. In contrast, this cleanser works like a dream - everything gone with one application, 30 second massage, and rinse! I also never expected this part, but using this product is very therapeutic and something I look forward to every night. It contains not only olive oil, but rosemary oil as well, so the fragrance is divine.

Love the DHC cleansing oil! I use it as my first cleanse at night and sometimes my only cleanse in the morning. It feels so nice going on and washes away makeup, sunscreen etc without leaving a residue or drying out my skin. I do use a wet wash cloth to wipe my face and neck after emulsifying it with water, to make sure I get everything off. Leaves my skin clean and soft. A new staple in my skincare routine!
