Fabulous addition to my night routine
Someone like me who has oily skin, this helps at reducing my excess sebum. I am male and don't use cosmetics, but produce quite a bit of oil throughout the day. This cleanser is gentle, smells great (a little reminiscent of olive oil, in the best way possible) and is also great to get any oil from the orbit of my eye, something that I couldn't I do with a water-based cleanser. I bought it in the smallest size, and now ordering a size up. A little goes a long way, and the pricing is fabulous as well. Excellent value, excellent product.

Not for me
I really wanted to love this oil, especially based on the reviews here. The first thing I noticed was a musty, stale smell. But the most disappointing factor was how dry it left my skin. I continued using the bottle in hopes that it my skin would find new balance, but to no avail. I purchased two bottles at the same time somehow and ended up tossing the second one. It just wasn't worth it.

I liked the texture and it made my skin soft but was surprised to find it did not remove all my makeup and still had left residue from foundation and mascara afterwards. You still need a cleanse with a facial wash after.

Works Well Even For Sensitive Skin
I have super reactive skin and got the trial size to be sure it would work for me. I'm pleased to report it did! I use it at night to remove sunscreen and light makeup. When using just my hands, I felt like a residue was left behind, so I would recommend removing the cleanser with a washcloth. My skin is really happy and calm with this cleanser, definitely will be repurchasing.

Great makeup remover
This oil is great for removing makeup. Sometimes, I don't even use a cleanser afterwards. My skin was getting irritated and breaking out from using makeup wipes, but I needed something to take off ALL my makeup, so I tried this. I first purchased a mini bottle, before committing to the larger size. I've been using it consistently for about 3 months now. I massage the oil in my skin until makeup starts to dissolve-including eye makeup, which it does a great job of removing-and then splash my face with water. The water emulsifies the oil, and it all rinses off completely. There is no greasy residue whatsoever. My skin feels clean and soft. If makeup wipes irritate your skin, or if you just need a makeup remover that can handle even heavy makeup removal, this is IT. I'm so happy I found this!

one of my favorites
This is one of my favorite cleansing oils. It takes off all my makeup and rinses clean, but I did get some dryness after a while. Turns out olive can be drying to some skin types.

burt's bees oil cleanser is better, but it's good. rinses almost clean, but i love the olive oil in dhc products so no issue for me there. i just like burt's bees better for the makeup removal capabilities
