Love this cleansing oil
This was my first cleansing oil ever and I loved it. I used to use coconut oil to remove my makeup but I decided to buy cleansing oil because I didn't like how it was hard to take off coconut oil after removing my makeup. This oil will take everything off of your face - eyeliner, shadows, mascara, foundation, etc. The best part is that the oil will dissolve in water so no residue! I bought the sample size to try out and I will definitely buy the bigger size! The price is very good as well.

Works. Better than other cleansing oil.
Comparing to two other cleansing oil products of different brands, I find DHC deep cleansing oil more effective in cleansing and better at retaining moisture on my face. This oil has better texture - not too watery, not too thick. There may be other factors involved, but I have had less blackheads since I started using DHC oil again. I use it once every night. It immediately removes my minimal makeup - tinted primer, concealer and penciled brows. On days when I wear no makeup, I still use the oil to remove dirt and impurities. After rinsing it off, my face is clean and supple. Very effective. The smallest size bottle leaks at the bottom. The next size up bottle, with a pump, does not.

My new favorite cleanser
After turning 40, I noticed my skin changed and I needed to change my routine. I did a lot of reading and decided on olive oil products. I like the fact that I can use this dry and rinse off. New to cleansing oil but this seems good.
The product cleanses fairly well. I added about a quarter size amount of oil to my palm and massaged it onto my face for about 30 seconds. Then I dampened my hands with water and rubbed my face for about 15 seconds, doing this helps to emulsify the oil. Then I washed it off. I used the oil in conjunction with a basic cleanser applied with a clarisonic. I did not notice a difference. I am a male who suffers from shaving bumps so I thought this stuff would help me get rid of shaving bumps but it did not.
