Undecided, depends on how you use it
After repeated use of deva cult products my hair felt more brittle. At first use though my hair looked and felt awesome. Maybe the conditioner has too much protein, I have no idea. The shampoo though is nice, it doesn't strip the oils and it gives hair slip. On that note it also doesn't lather at all or cleanse all the much. As of yet I'm undecided. I think it's worth trying the travel size though.

Avoid at all costs
I wish I could give this 0 stars. I bought this at the behest of my "curly hair specialist" hairdresser who only uses Deva products. My curl pattern was completely ruined and I lost literal handfuls of hair each time I used it. Come to find out after a couple of months, that DevaCurl is under fire by thousands of people experiencing the same issue.

I found this to be difficult to apply
I really wanted to love this shampoo because I read Lorraine Massey's "Curly Girl" book and found that it had sound advice for curl care. Unfortunately, while I liked the idea of a sulfate-free shampoo, I found this shampoo to be awkward to use. It was partly because I was so used to a shampoo that lathers. But, I also just felt that this shampoo didn't spread well. Hence, I felt like my hair and scalp didn't get clean enough. In addition, I thought this was hard to wash out. I have since moved on to a different sulfate-free shampoo that I like much better. So, I still recommend that basically everyone go sulfate-free - your hair will thank you. If you are considering the DevaCurl No Poo, I recommend this application that I discovered after my failed attempt with the product: mix some of the sulfate-free shampoo in with your usual shampoo to begin with; then, slowly increase the sulfate-free shampoo with each wash. I think this makes it for a much easier transition.

Great no-poo for fine wavy hair
I can use this stuff to clean my hair and scalp without it getting weighed down, which it does very easily. I do have rotate it with low poo delight to not weigh my hair down but it's a nice break from shampoo once a week. It also feels amazing on scalp and leaves your hair and scalp feeling clean and so fresh!! And the curl definition is the best...more so than with the low poo :) it's a great one and done way to quickly refresh your hair!! Provides pretty good slip so no conditioner needed!! And last but not least, the smell is amazing!!

Helps my hair to curl nicely
I did not think that I had to use a lot of product, as other reviews have stated. I use about the amount that I would use with regular shampoo. This product helps my hair to hold curls, and also the curls are nicely defined. I wish the product was just a little more hydrating, however I am still very pleased with the results. I use the "no-poo" twice a week, and shampoo three times a week, and I can tell the difference in the way my hair looks when I use this product.

Great alternative to shampoo
It works well in that my hair feels clean and does not get greasy even though I technically didn't use shampoo. Unfortunately, it takes a lot of product to clean all of my long hair and this is an expensive product. Has a nice, fresh scent.
