Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: Limit time in the sun, especially from 10 am-2 pm. Wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses.

a great sunscreen
I've tried a bunch of sunscreens and this has to be in the top 3 for sure. I am a big fan of the tint and there is no white residue. I honestly do not have to even wear foundation and I just use it as the last step of my skincare routine. Its a bit thick so I usually need to moisturize before and I layer it on top of my facial oil. Overall, would recommend and its not a bad price point for the amount.

Fairly light and no white residue
This was a nice non-greasy sunscreen. Feels a lot like primer after it is applied. I didn't notice a tint after it was on, and the zinc wasn't visible either. I also liked that there wasn't a really strong scent. I received this in sample size in the Beautyfix box but plan to order more since it has been working so well under makeup.

Very nice; same as another more expensive sunscreen
I enjoy this sunscreen. It smooths easily on the skin and blurs imperfections. Unlike a lot of other mineral sunscreens on me, this one isn't shiny. The tint is light so probably best for lighter skin tones, like myself. That would be my only suggestion for an improvement (make a bit darker), as even I often mix with a bit of darker sunscreen to wear on no makeup days. The ingredients are identical to the TIZO AM REPLENISH, and I love that sunscreen too....and purchased this one when I noticed the ingredients were the same. This one is $13 cheaper!

Pass on this - better exists
I bought this at a Black Friday special price, and I can't say that it's worth it at even 50% off. Go with Elta if you're looking for a 40+ SPF that doesn't cause white cast. If I were looking for something positive to say, I would offer that it doesn't feel or smell like a SPF lotion: it's not sticky and it doesn't have an odor. But as others have mentioned, it has a silicon texture that sits on top of the skin (like a Smashbox primer - and it also gives a similar blurring effect). I think if I put make-up foundation over this, it would feel heavy. And as for the "tint" - it's almost fraudulent to make that claim: I have light skin and no color registered at all. That might not be a bad thing, but don't get this if you're looking for any sort of tinted coverage from your sunscreen.

I really liked the feel of this product on my face. No white residue, non greasy. For spf 40, it was surprisingly light. I just didn't notice any tint, which may not be a bad thing. I received this in a prior beautyfix box and I will reorder the full size.

Disappointed
I really wanted to love this but I was pretty disappointed overall. The texture is just way too thick for me and I could feel it on my face allllll day. It doesn't feel like it sinks in at all, it just felt like a super thick layer of slightly sticky foundation sitting on top of my skin all day. If you were just putting on a tiny amount it would probably be fine - but with sunscreen it's so important to put a substantial amount on to actually get the full benefits. It looked really nice on my skin with a slight blur effect, but I don't think I will order again due to the texture and its inability to sink into the skin.

weird texture
This SPF is an odd texture, kind of putty-like, so it feels weird to put on your face. Once it's on, it's fine. Just kind of a weird experience to apply every morning. It has a slight tint, but it's so sheer that I don't think it would be a huge issue. I didn't notice any weird smells, which can sometimes be an issue with sunscreens.

Amazing mineral sunscreen.
I agree with all the other reviews, this is the best formulated mineral sunscreen I've ever tried. It feels like a lightweight primer and no white cast on my tanned olive complexion. No irritation either, and I'm on retin-a and have flaky, dry skin.
