Dermstore Collection's Daily Mineral Sunscreen SPF 40 provides sun protection with a universally flattering sheer tint. This formula blurs imperfections without leaving a white residue on skin. Mineral based, this facial sunscreen shields the skin against both UVA and UVB rays, while vitamins C and E protect against damaging free radicals. Perfect to wear alone or under makeup, as it doubles as a smoothing makeup primer.

Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Use a water-resistant product if swimming or sweating. Reapply at least every 2 hours. Children under 6 months: Ask a doctor. Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: Limit time in the sun, especially from 10 am-2 pm. Wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses.

surprising how smooth it absorbs
I tried this product because it was a part of the dermstore kit. I will be purchasing this in the future, because I LOVE THIS. I was surprised how smoothly it goes onto my skin. It does not pill. It does not make me shine like a 150W lightbulb. I love this!

Great product!
I received a smaller bottle of this in a suncare kit. I was hesitant at first because it has a tint to it and I have very fair skin, but I was so pleasantly surprised. The tint blends in and can't be seen. There is no white cast, no greasiness, no scent, and it has a silky/powdery feel to it when applied. It just blends right in and has a matte finish. I am ordering more!

This actually blocks the sun! It works.
I absolutely love this sunscreen. It leaves no white cast or weird film (so it's a good makeup base), it doesn't pill, my skin hasn't broken out from it, but what seals the deal for me is that I can tell it blocks the sun on my face because my freckles have faded since I started wearing it and no new ones have emerged. This is my go-to test for how well a sunscreen/sunblock actually blocks UV rays, I'm beyond happy!! Please never discontinue this product, Dermstore!

Good product
I enjoyed the texture of this, it made my skin very soft and smooth and gave me a good base to start the rest of my makeup. It also worked well with blurring out imperfections on my skin. I love that it has the sun protection added in!

My new staple
I love this SPF. I bought the smaller size as a trial run for myself, and have just purchased the regular size on a subscription basis- that's how much I love it. I have had so many issues finding SPF that works on my sensitive and acne-prone skin. I can't use chemical SPF but most mineral sunscreens I've tried have a horrible white, shiny effect on my skin. The texture of this product is very thick and putty-like, but it spreads great and the slight tint prevents a white cast but also doesn't look like you're wearing product on your face. It doesn't make my face shiny at all. My skin definitely feels tacky after I apply this (after all, it is SPF) but that serves me well as a primer if I do decide to put on makeup.

Holy Grail Sunscreen
I have tried SO many suncreens, especially mineral sunscreens, and this is officially my holy grail one! This sunscreen leaves no white cast. It has a light tint, as described, that seems to be just to ensure no white cast but it rubs in clear very quickly. This sunscreen is not sticky but rather has a somewhat satiny feel that dries down somewhere between a matte and natural finish (my skin is normal type, fair skin color, highly sensitive). I really love that it does have a slight blurring effect but looks truly natural. I have worn it outside for several hours and have been protected and haven't seen any new sun damage on my skin, so I have every reason to believe it is effective! My favorite thing about this sunscreen is how easy it is to put on! I have tried so many (SO many) mineral sunscreens and this is by far the easiest one to wear. It rubs in so quickly, leaves absolutely no cast, isn't oily and isn't drying, and works really well under makeup or without. I will never look for another sunscreen because this has everything I could want! The packaging, while not beautiful, is totally useful. It's no-frills, but who needs anything else in a sunscreen? It is most similar to the Australian Gold facial sunscreen, but feels more satiny and leaves me less shiny than that sunscreen. I also really appreciate that it is reef-friendly! Thank you mineral sunscreen! I wasn't able to determine its EWG rating but I hope that will be available soon. Bottom line: This is my favorite sunscreen. It hasn't let me down, even when I've worn it on sweaty runs. I can't hope for anything more than what this offers. PLEASE never stop making it!
