Dermstore Collection's Daily Mineral Sunscreen SPF 40 provides sun protection with a universally flattering sheer tint. This formula blurs imperfections without leaving a white residue on skin. Mineral based, this facial sunscreen shields the skin against both UVA and UVB rays, while vitamins C and E protect against damaging free radicals. Perfect to wear alone or under makeup, as it doubles as a smoothing makeup primer.

Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Use a water-resistant product if swimming or sweating. Reapply at least every 2 hours. Children under 6 months: Ask a doctor. Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: Limit time in the sun, especially from 10 am-2 pm. Wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses.

Dryness and flakiness
The feel of this product is 5/5, but that's the only good thing about it. Every single time I've used this product it has created this insane dry patch on my forehead and the rest of my face (less, but still noticeable). I always make sure to hydrate and moisturize before applying. Then it glides on lovely, feels super hydrating....and then all this dry/weird skin starts popping up before sun exposure, and worse the longer it's on my skin. When washing it off gently with Inkey List Oat Balm and Cetaphil sensitive skin for a double cleanse, it practically took my nose skin with it. I really don't understand it. But I definitely can't recommend it.

Better than you think!
This was included in a sunscreen sampler box that I ordered through Dermstore in the summer...and I liked it much better than other more well-known brands! There is a slight tint that makes this sunscreen blend in very well and leaves no white cast at all - and I am very tan! I actually like the texture of the sunscreen because once it is on the skin, there is a matte appearance and your face is not shiny at all. I will purchase this again!

Pleasantly surprised
It's hard to find a good mineral sunscreen that doesn't leave a white cast! At first, I was skeptical about this sunscreen because it was the Dermstore brand and I have never tried anything from their brand, but I was pleasantly surprised. No White cast, nice blur, and nice SPF protection! Will buy it again soon!

Favorite Sunscreen after many tries
I love this sunscreen! I am so grateful to finally find a mineral sunscreen with NO white cast, super smooth application, nice matte finish without being drying, AND it's more affordable than similar sunscreens! I have been using this one for over a year (I've gone through about 4 bottles in that time, maybe 3) and have no reason to keep searching for a better one. I have applied as recommended and have had no increase in sun damage, no sunburns, and my skin looks healthy and vibrant (in conjunction with other part of a skincare routine). This sunscreen does not make me break out despite my sensitive skin, too! What more could you want? Special note: I have fair skin and don't notice any cast or color to my face once the sunscreen is rubbed in. It seems to slightly blur pores (due to dimethicone?) and believe this would do well on other skin tones. I have recommended this sunscreen to friends with a wide range of skin tones and they all love it!

My absolute favorite sunscreen
I had been looking for that perfect tinted mineral sunscreen that could double as a light coverage foundation. There are a few others that I tried, but the tint was off, either gray or a crazy yellow on my skin. The Dermstore Collection Daily Mineral Sunscreen has a tint that blends well with my coloring. It feels really smooth on my skin when I apply it and it settles into a nice finish, neither too matte nor too shiny. It works well with my other morning skincare products. If I could wish for anything more from this product, it would be a higher SPF. But I am so happy with this product.

Best Sunscreen Ever!
I've tried many different sunscreens. I'm a medium complexioned black woman and every sunscreen has been either too oily looking or left a white film on my face. Finally, I'd settled for the shininess and had to always layer on a mattifying product on top. Then I tried this sunscreen as a sample and it works perfectly for me. It's not oily and doesn't leave a white cast! It goes on smooth and matte and never irritates my skin. I don't mind reapplying throughout the day. My husband even uses it, when he'd resisted all other sunscreens before due to the white cast. I'd immediately bought two full sized tubes and am about to order two more because I never want to run out.

Nice texture, feel like primer. Skin looks great.
I purchased the Dermstore sun care kit with this included as one of the sample sizes. I admit this is a product I wouldve never considered purchasing because I've just generally been happy with ELta MD and Skinceuticals sunscreens. One day I tried this and WOW. The texture and feel was really amazing. It reminds me a lot of Benefit Porefessional primer. It left my skin with a nice satin sheen with no white cast. I only wish it came in a higher spf. But otherwise this was a pleasant surprise, a great find. Will definitely purchase the full size!

Best sunscreen yet
I got a sample in my BeautyFix box and at first thought, oh no, another sunscreen, but after trying it , was surprised to find this sunscreen is wonderful with a perfect neutral tint that disappears into the skin, no white cast, smooths the skin and blurs pores. It feels like a primer and goes well under foundation with no pilling.. I normally use EltaMD , SkinMedica or Neova because they are non-greasy and good for the skin. This is right up there in quality ingredients is and currently my favorite as it is the most matte of them all. I will be reordering it when I use up the rest. Highly recommended.
