Dermstore Collection's Daily Mineral Sunscreen SPF 40 provides sun protection with a universally flattering sheer tint. This formula blurs imperfections without leaving a white residue on skin. Mineral based, this facial sunscreen shields the skin against both UVA and UVB rays, while vitamins C and E protect against damaging free radicals. Perfect to wear alone or under makeup, as it doubles as a smoothing makeup primer.

Warnings: For external use only. Do not use on damaged or broken skin. Stop use and ask a doctor if rash occurs. When using this product, keep out of eyes. Rinse with water to remove. Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Use a water-resistant product if swimming or sweating. Reapply at least every 2 hours. Children under 6 months: Ask a doctor. Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: Limit time in the sun, especially from 10 am-2 pm. Wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses.

nice matte sunscreen
After receiving a sample of this, I purchased a full size. Wish is comes in a harder size. I like how it comes on matte and not shinny like some other sunscreens. I have fair skin, so sometimes I mix with a non-tinted sunscreen because the tinted could be a little darker.

Received a sample of this and have loved it ever since. I have tried a lot of brands of facial sunscreen and this daily mineral sheer tint sunscreen is the absolute BEST I have used. It’s moisturizing without being greasy, it’s a mineral sunscreen without any white residue/milk caste, and although very creamy and moisturizing, it hasn’t broken my skin out once. Definitely recommend this product.

The BEST hands down
I have tried every brand facial sunscreen with SPF 40 & over, and this daily mineral sheer tint sunscreen is the absolute BEST I have used. It’s moisturizing without being greasy, it’s a mineral sunscreen without any white residue/milk caste, and although very creamy and moisturizing, it hasn’t broken my skin out once. There is no need for a primer or even a tinted moisturizer, because it leaves your face flawless & smooth. I received multiple compliments on my skin’s appearance and texture. It feels like a velvety mousse. I was blow away! Not to mention, it neither rubs off on my clothes nor has a strong SPF smell. If you’re in the fence - BUY IT, and try the smaller option. You will be amazed, and return for more. Promise.

I love it
This sunscreen is really great. It goes on sheer on my fair skin and blurs my pores. It has a siliconey feel similar to the benefit porefessional makeup primer. I haven't tested it under makeup to know how it wears with foundation on but it's great alone for no-makeup days. One of the best sunscreens i've ever tried.

LOVE doesn't even come close!
I decided to give this a solid test period - over a month of daily use now. It's important to know what this is and what it is not trying to be. (I previously used the Replenix sheer physical sunscreen, but they rebranded and reformulated and all the fabulous goodness (sheerness, spreadability, skin-feel, and no white cast) disappeared with the new reformulation. Awful!) I thoroughly researched sheer sunblocks on Dermstore and tripped across this one as an alternative to the typical Obagi and EltaMD. PROS: spreads gloriously, does not clog pores one bit, no scent, no skin triggers or allergens for me (very prone to facial and skin allergic reactions from products on my face, neck, and chest), no sunburn while wearing, AND *most importantly for me* blends well with other tinted moisturizers or tinted sunblocks. CONS: no coverage, if that's what you're looking for. USEABILTY: The best way I have found to wear this, is by mixing this with something else that has more pigment. For me, each morning I mix two peas-sized amounts of this sunblock with one pea-sized amount of Andulu Naturals 1000 Roses CC Color Correct in Neutral (the lightest color). The result is flawless! A subtle glow, more than sheer coverage, and a double whammy of SPF mixed together! I couldn't be more happy with this unsung hero from Dermstore. My 40+ skin just glows with health! Why this hasn't garnered a cult following and been written about in every beauty pub is beyond me!! I will use this sunblock until it is no more and repurchase for life!

A solid contender
I liked this sunscreen more than I expected. It goes on smoothly and I appreciate that it is not fragranced. I've been using it under makeup but I can feel more drag on my brush. The tinting is minimal at best. My skin tends to be on the drier side, especially outside of the summer months and this sunscreen kept me from getting flaky. A good buy for the price point!
