Dermalogica UltraCalming - UltraCalming Cleanser is extremely gentle face wash that helps promote healing and protection for skin aggravated by environmental influences such as pollution, harsh climate, stress, hormonal changes or cosmetic allergies. Pour a small amount into the palm of hand. Apply to the face and throat and activate by gently massaging with fingertips in light, upward strokes. Can be rinsed thoroughly with warm water or removed with dry cotton pads. Use twice daily, once in the morning and evening. Follow with Dermalogica's Soothing Protection Spray and Barrier Repair moisturizer.

Not very cleansing
I have eczema so thought this might be a good cleanser to use. Yes it is very gentle but it doesn't cleanse well. Even using a wash cloth it doesn't clean hardly any of my make up off my face. Big disappointment for the price it is.

Impressed after first few uses
I have used this cleanser a few times and I have seen a noticeable improvement in my rosacea. I have broken blood vessels from rosacea and they were less noticeable. I used this after using the regular precleanse oil with the scrubby thing I got with the balm sample and my skin does look better. I don't like most scents and this one was fine.

Meh, I wanted to like this but my skin broke out
I am a big fan and faithful user of most of the Dermalogica products. I had been holding off from buying the cleanser since I had another brand/product that was doing just fine. Until I ran out and figured I'd add the Dermalogica cleanser to my regiment. Yes, the product is very gentle but it goes on like a moisturizer - glides onto your face really. It doesn't foam or bubble and for me, I missed that. Plus I ended up with some bad acne spots so I just stopped all together with the UltraCalming Cleanser.
