Dermalogica UltraCalming - UltraCalming Cleanser is extremely gentle face wash that helps promote healing and protection for skin aggravated by environmental influences such as pollution, harsh climate, stress, hormonal changes or cosmetic allergies. Pour a small amount into the palm of hand. Apply to the face and throat and activate by gently massaging with fingertips in light, upward strokes. Can be rinsed thoroughly with warm water or removed with dry cotton pads. Use twice daily, once in the morning and evening. Follow with Dermalogica's Soothing Protection Spray and Barrier Repair moisturizer.

Best Sensitive Skin Cleanser Ever
This cleanser saved my skin! I use a prescribed acne cream and it makes my skin so dry, red and flaky. This cleanser helped my face get back to normal. I have really sensitive skin that freaks out if I put anything not meant for sensitive skin on it. I think I've found my favorite cleanser after searching and searching.

Perfect Gentle Cleanser
I have very sensitive, acne prone skin. Lately I've been really into buying and using products on my skin that don't have any harmful chemicals in them. I was disappointed to find that a lot of "calming" face washes actually have a lot of ingredients and chemicals in them that can be quite the opposite for your skin. This face wash however was the best one that I've found with very little to no ingredients that can be irritants! It leaves my skin feeling supple and it truly does leave my skin feeling "calm." I love it and will definitely be buying again!

Love Dermalogica!
I purchased this item in the kit from a spa that I visited. This and the Ultracalming serum concentrate were the winners! It really had helped to calm the redness and my skin from breaking out. Both products had a soft smell and left my skin feeling nice. The price for the full size can be a bit steep, but they are worth purchasing.

The best at calming!
This cleanser is a life saver and it's so worth the price for the amount that you get!! I can literally just wash my face and INSTANT calming for my rosacea. It's ridiculous how a cleanser can be that soothing. It isn't the best at actually cleansing makeup off, however. It didn't completely remove my tinted SPF... I just think it's too gentle for that kinda stuff. I try to avoid makeup as much as I can (have great skin besides my redness which is why I got this product), so it really isn't that much of a big deal to me.

Good for sensitive skin
I decided to give this face cleanser a try, my face had been irritated by a lot of dryness from a retinol product I was using. I really like this cleanser it's very gentle and Suits my sensitive skin needs however, it doesn't really clean all the makeup off. I have to wash my face three to four times with this product to get the makeup off.

great cleanser
not very good at cleansing makeup off your skin and feels heavy, BUT when I was going through some weird skin rash on my face, this was my skin savior! it totally took my redness away and soothed my skin. it kind of has a heavy cream consistency but in the winter when my skin is more dry, this is awesome

Dry Skin Gone!
I have dry, red prone skin and I have been using this product for about a month. I live in the midwest so right now it is very cold and dry outside. This product like like a mix between a gel and a cream. It starts off as a gel and kind of turns creamy when working it into your skin. I typically apply it to dry skin or lightly damp skin. I have been alternating between leaving the product on and rinsing it off depending on how dry my skin is. I should also note that I have been using the ultra calming serum and cool water gel. Since switching to gentle cleansers I have noticed a dramatic decrease in the amount of acne I get. My skin has dramatically improved since using the ultra calming line and I no longer have dry skin. My skin is usually flaking at this time of year but thanks to this line of products, my skin has been very well hydrated. To address a comment a read about it not removing make up, I do not think that this product deserved a one star due to it not removing make up, it is after all an ultra gentle cleanser. This brand makes a pre-cleanse product (which i have not tried yet) that removes make up. (before finding this line of products, last winter I tried DHC deep cleansing oil, which I found reasonably priced and removed make-up very well and rinsed clean-that product still made my skin dry just to give you comparison but i would continue to use it for its make-up removing properties then follow it up with this product). A little bit of this product goes a long way and I am probably using too much. I bet this size bottle will last a good 6-9 months. Hope this helps.
