Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel is a soap-free, foaming gel designed to thoroughly remove impurities without disturbing the skin's natural moisture balance. Anti-inflammatory balm mint extract soothes inflammation while natural quillaja saponaria gently foams away toxins and deep cleans debris. Astringent lavender extract minimizes the appearance of pores and balances pH levels.
Gently lather a small amount of gel on moistened hands. Apply to dampened face and throat and work into a deep cleansing lather. Rinse off with warm water and repeat for professional cleaning results.

Have used this for years
My husband and I have used this product for years. A little bit goes a long way, and it foams away dirt and oil gently. The best part is it doesn't leave that dry/parched feeling like many cleansers do.

Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel
This is fragrance free, and very gentle. I think this would be a great product, and worth the price, for someone with very sensitive skin. I personally prefer something with a gentle, or herbal fragrance, and something that lathers a bit more.

Great daily cleanser
This cleanser removes impurities without harsh soap ingredients. I love the scent of lavender. Gives a spa/tranquility feeling. Balanced Ph level is great for my oily skin.

EDUCATE YOURSELF ON INGREDIENTS
This claims to not have harsh detergents and respect the skin barrier. It says "soap free" and I believe that leads many to believe this is a safe and gentle cleanser. You'd be better off with soap!!! This have sulfates, including the worst offender: SLS along with PPG's and PARABENS!!! This is full of toxic ingredients- shame on Dermalogica and I sincerely suggest that this be avoided

Long Lasting!
Okay, this product lasts! Yes, it is pricey for a cleanser, but I would say it's worth it. At the risk of sounding hyperbolic, I purchased the large bottle last year in August and it lasted for 9 months of twice daily use. A little goes a long way and it really gets a good lather. I hope this helps!

One of my favorites
I started using this product because some cleansers were supposed to not leave my skin dry. This is one product I will buy for now on. A little goes a long way and my skin doesn't feel tight or dry after using it. I would recommend this to anyone.

I do not recommend the product to sensitive or rosacea-prone skin. Might be good for oily skin though, after all it is soap free.

The best face cleanser ever!
I've been using Dermalogica for years and all the products are excellent. The Special Cleansing Gel thoroughly cleanses without stripping the skin of all natural oils, so doesn't feel dry or tight after cleansing, just really clean.
