Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel is a soap-free, foaming gel designed to thoroughly remove impurities without disturbing the skin's natural moisture balance. Anti-inflammatory balm mint extract soothes inflammation while natural quillaja saponaria gently foams away toxins and deep cleans debris. Astringent lavender extract minimizes the appearance of pores and balances pH levels.
Gently lather a small amount of gel on moistened hands. Apply to dampened face and throat and work into a deep cleansing lather. Rinse off with warm water and repeat for professional cleaning results.

Good, basic cleanser
This is a good, basic cleanser that will get the job done. I like a cleanser with more pizzazz so I probably won't repurchase. The smell is mild and non-offensive.

good basic cleanser
I used up the full sample I got from BeautyFix but I don't see myself buying the full size. I liked the gentleness but I feel like it performed the same function as my Cetaphil cleanser which is way less expensive.

Not sure if it is doing anything
I've had this for a few weeks now and it gets my skin clean if I wash it twice like suggested (after precleanse if I have makeup on). My acne-prone skin doesn't look much better, but didn't get worse. So to me, it's an average product.

Basic cleanser

Great staple
This isn't a hugely exciting product, but it doesn't need to be. It's a really great basic cleanser - gentle and thorough. I've been dissatisfied with soap-free cleansers in the past, but this one leaves skin feeling clean and healthy.

Be aware of the SLS
This is their star product and it's a nice product. It lathers well, good scent and cleans well. I just hope they can replace the SLS with something milder. There are many alternatives to SLS out there. This is not a cheap product so I hope they can use better ingredients.

Great cleanser!
This cleanser is super good! I had purchased it in the smaller size and wish that I went for the larger since this is something that I will need to have on hand at all times. I feel like may face feels balanced in terms of moisture and it also has a smooth look after I cleanse. This is definitely a fav. from their line.
