Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel is a soap-free, foaming gel designed to thoroughly remove impurities without disturbing the skin's natural moisture balance. Anti-inflammatory balm mint extract soothes inflammation while natural quillaja saponaria gently foams away toxins and deep cleans debris. Astringent lavender extract minimizes the appearance of pores and balances pH levels.
Gently lather a small amount of gel on moistened hands. Apply to dampened face and throat and work into a deep cleansing lather. Rinse off with warm water and repeat for professional cleaning results.

fresh and clean
I really liked this dermalogica cleanser. It is gel texture but won't strip off skin. My skins feels very refreshing after using it. It is gentle and won't leave skin dry yet takes away the dirt that has been accumulated throughout the day. I don't think it would be effective to remove all the makeup but it's good for double cleansing.

Excellent Cleanser!
I alternate with this cleanser and Philosophy, Purity Made Simple, as I believe skin gets in a rut if you use the same products over and over. I love all the skin care items Dermalogica makes - especially love this cleanser as it removes all traces of makeup.

This is a good cleanser for normal skin, however if you have combination skin it won't work. Plus it is expensive I don't know if it's worth it

Non dry cleanser after wash
The cleanser comes with the mini set that I ordered. I used it during my trip and it was good. It doesn't dry out my face after wash. It does have scent like a bit herb, but won't bother me. I also like that it leathers well and remove my makeup residue!
