Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel is a soap-free, foaming gel designed to thoroughly remove impurities without disturbing the skin's natural moisture balance. Anti-inflammatory balm mint extract soothes inflammation while natural quillaja saponaria gently foams away toxins and deep cleans debris. Astringent lavender extract minimizes the appearance of pores and balances pH levels.
Gently lather a small amount of gel on moistened hands. Apply to dampened face and throat and work into a deep cleansing lather. Rinse off with warm water and repeat for professional cleaning results.

Love it for my combo skin
I have combination skin which gets very oily around the nose area especially in the summers. This cleansing gel is excellent to keep my skin clear, unclogged and looking refreshed. It has a slightly cooling effect due to the mint which I love. I do follow up with a toner and moisturizer though - its not one of those cleansers that leave a film so that moisturizer is not needed.

Wanted to like this cleanser...
I really wanted to like this cleanser but I found it to be too irritating for everyday use. My guess is that it has something to do with the multiple essential oils. I like the feel, but I don't love the scent.

The most BASIC, BASIC, BASIC cleanser. If you want something for sensitive skin great...if you wear no makeup AND have normal skin-dry skin then go for it. No harsh fragrance, no sudsy lather which I guess is nice if its your thing but this did not help my skin. I just doesn't clean enough for me...not that I am looking for a cleanser that has more fragrance or sud for really more action. Did it prevent a pimple-no; did it shrink a pore-no; did it cleanse my skin- mostly. I double cleanse and I have better results with a micellar water than this.
