Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel is a soap-free, foaming gel designed to thoroughly remove impurities without disturbing the skin's natural moisture balance. Anti-inflammatory balm mint extract soothes inflammation while natural quillaja saponaria gently foams away toxins and deep cleans debris. Astringent lavender extract minimizes the appearance of pores and balances pH levels.
Gently lather a small amount of gel on moistened hands. Apply to dampened face and throat and work into a deep cleansing lather. Rinse off with warm water and repeat for professional cleaning results.

Great cleanser! It lathers extremely well and has an easy pump. I was thinking it was going to smell just like the PreCleanser (I love the scent), but it's different. Smells fine, just different than their other products.

Unexpected love
This product has been recommended by a few estheticians on youtube. I've never been that attracted to Dermalogica products, but when I saw Dermstore had a holiday set for a really good price, I decided to take the plunge. I use this after cleansing with the precleanse oil and before using the daily microfoliant, and I really like all three! I like that the fragrance is minimal and the cleanse is gentle. I wasn't expecting to like this product as much as I have!

Refreshing face wash
This is my go to summer face wash. It is great at getting your face ultra clean and taking off all of your make up. It didn't clog my pores or dry out my skin (I have combination skin), but it might not be the best cleanser for really dry skin. The scent is really refreshing (minty and citrusy) so it's a great morning wash. But sensitive skin types might have some issues with the essential oils, especially the lemon one.
