Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel is a soap-free, foaming gel designed to thoroughly remove impurities without disturbing the skin's natural moisture balance. Anti-inflammatory balm mint extract soothes inflammation while natural quillaja saponaria gently foams away toxins and deep cleans debris. Astringent lavender extract minimizes the appearance of pores and balances pH levels.
Gently lather a small amount of gel on moistened hands. Apply to dampened face and throat and work into a deep cleansing lather. Rinse off with warm water and repeat for professional cleaning results.

Gentle but not as cleansing as I expected
I was sure to have found the facial cleanser I would use for years to come, but I think I will not be purchasing this product again. That is because this cleanser leaves my a lot of makeup residue on my face, and I almost always have to use another cleanser and towel afterwards to finish the job. This includes a lot of foundation, and eyeshadow. When using a toner I continue to see residue/dirt after using this cleanser.

dont know what i'd do with out it
I use this cleanser strictly on my face. It doesn't burn or irritate my skin, doesn't leave my skin feeling overly clean, or residue-ee. I have been using in for a good 10 years now and I don't know what I would do if they ever stop making it.
