Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel is a soap-free, foaming gel designed to thoroughly remove impurities without disturbing the skin's natural moisture balance. Anti-inflammatory balm mint extract soothes inflammation while natural quillaja saponaria gently foams away toxins and deep cleans debris. Astringent lavender extract minimizes the appearance of pores and balances pH levels.
Gently lather a small amount of gel on moistened hands. Apply to dampened face and throat. Rinse with warm water and repeat for professional cleaning results.

This is a repurchase for me, the cleanser does a great job at keeping my skin clean and it is very gentle. I have oily/combo skin while my boyfriend has dry sensitive skin and it works great for us.

This is the best cleanser I've been used so far. It is gel but won't dry you out. Instead, it leaves your skin soft, smooth and radiant. It is mild, not irritating at all but can still clean your face so well. And it has a pleasant smell as well.

very concentrated
This is a nice soothing cleanser that is quite average for its price. It foams up like crazy so i'm sure this will last forever since you'll only need a tiny drop each time you use it. it has only a very slight fragrance, possibly from the lavender extract, and has a nice moisturizing finish & rinses well.

Trusted Cleanser!
I've been using Special Cleansing Gel for 10+ years and see no changing that in my future. SPG never irritates my combination skin, never over dries yet removes dirt and oil wonderfully (even waterproof mascara). Other expensive gentle cleansers haven't fully removed oil and makeup or they leave my skin feeling unnatural. I really like SPG's smooth texture which works into a great later. I'm not a fan of facial cleansers which don't lather- I use way too much, feeling like they aren't not working.

Great for Rosacea
I have Rosacea and have tried almost every cleanser out there from prescription to over the counter. This is one of the best cleansers that I've found. It deep cleans, yet is still gentle and doesn't cause my Rosacea to flare up. Many cleansers for Rosacea are super gentle because people with Rosacea have super sensitive skin, however the super gentle cleansers are good, they just don't cleanse (for me) deep enough..which causes me to break out in pimples. Plus...it's super concentrated, you don't need to use much, thus it lasts a long time.
