Love it!!!
Many other exfoliants are simply too harsh, especially if you plan to use them daily. However, dermalogica's charcoal facial powder is perfect for daily use! It leaves my face smooth and soft. It's my favorite exfoliant, as it isn't too abrasive for sensitive skin.

Different but Great
It is a little weird at first since it comes out like black sand ! LOL but a little water turns it into a paste and is easy to use and get into the areas you really need to hit...It seems like a better value also because a very small amount goes a long way and covers well - and it doesn't just wash off like the cream version - you actively use it to clean your skin - works really great - doesn't leave my skin dry - yet very clean - I will continue to reorder this product !

City Dweller
As a city dweller who is constantly afraid of the long term effects pollution will have on her skin, I added this exfoliator to my routine. I generally try to use this at the end of the day to (hopefully) get the full benefits of this product. I find that my skin feels a little tight afterwards, which I'm not opposed to-I feel like it's working when I get this effect. As someone with large pores, mine are definitely minimized after use due to the niacinamide. I do find that the "beads" for exfoliation dissolve pretty quickly, but I don't mind-I don't want this product to be scrubbing my face intensely as I do a deep exfoliation 1-2 times a week. Overall, really good product, just don't drop it because you'll kiss that powder goodbye.

I like it but ...
I'd like this but as others have said you either get just a teeny bit out because you're being so careful or a bunch of it loads into your hand and you end up wasting product. I think if they just changed how this is dispensed it would be a lot better and you wouldn't go through it so quickly.

Was recommended this exfoliant by aesthetician. Had accidentally ordered the other kind which is white; anyways used that but it seems to be a little rougher than this charcoal kind. So ordered this & I alternate between the 2 but I like this better. My skin ends up feeling smoothed over after using it. Would definitely recommend to others for deep cleansing.
