Dermalogica Active Clearing Skin Wash (formerly MediBac Clearing Clearing Skin Wash) is a non-irritating, naturally foaming cleanser for oily and blemish-prone skin types. Salicylic acid promotes the natural exfoliation of dead skin cells which may clog pores and lead to blemishes. Balm mint, eucalyptus, tea tree, burdock and camphor extracts soothe and calm congested and aggravated skin, leaving it clean and ready for further treatments. Fragrance- and colorant-free, Clearing Skin Wash leaves the complexion clearer, healthier-looking, soft and pure.

Work a pea-sized amount into a lather in wet hands. Apply to dampened face and neck, massaging in circular motions while concentrating on areas of congestion and oiliness. Avoid eye area. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.

I love this stuff
I have really sensitive skin and simultaneously deal with acne and new wrinkles - this stuff is gentle, doesnt leave a film on my face, doesnt dry my skin out too much. Foams really nicely. I never have to scrub to get makeup or sunscreen off.

Clearing up my teenager's acne!
This is a great cleanser. I bought it for my teenager who has tried many cleansers for her very acne prone skin. She's been using this twice a day followed by a PCA Acne Serum and we are seeing a huge difference! The pump bottle is great for the shower, too. Highly recommend.

Best facial cleanser
I have been using Dermalogica for many years. This washer is excellent, 16.9 fl. oz. lasts for more than year of everyday use. UNFORTUNATELLY this year all my Dermstore orders came damaged (two parcels with leaked and unsealed open items) so I had to return everything. Great products - poor handling and shipping. Please package properly!

Reliable Everyday Cleanser for Acne Prone Skin
I'm in my early 30's now and I recently have been getting acne flare ups (ones that remind me of my teen years and early 20's). As I get older, I don't really like the feel of benzoyl peroxide and always go to for the salicylic acid and other acids along with ingredients that help with inflammation. I find this cleanser to be gentle and effective. I like that a little goes a long way - 1 pump of this cleaner is enough for washing the entire face. I'm a big fan of Dermalogica products in general - this is my favorite everyday cleanser. I've been using this cleanser for more than 6 months. I just wish I could find a cleanser to switch to a week before my period so I can prevent the hormonal acne a bit more effectively.

Gentle, but not Good for Severe/Persistent Acne
This is a very nice gentle cleanser with 0.5% salicylic acid. It is very refreshing and smells great; there is also a decent amount of foaming. However, with the 0.5% salicylic acid, it is not super effective for severe or persistent acne that requires a stronger dose of salicylic acid. Any drugstore brand with a 2% salicylic acid or 5-10% benzoyl peroxide would be more suitable. However, with occasional breakouts, this cleanser is great!
