Been Using It For Uses
I've used this serum for years following a recommendation from my esthetician. This has been my holy grail product. It targets breakouts and anti-aging. Recommend to anyone with acne prone skin who also want to target aging.

mask breakouts
I started using this procuct on days where I'm in a mask the majority of the day while seeing patietns. So far I've been seeing fewer breakouts but not any significant change on marks already there. It has a slightly medicinal smell which I like, as it adds a psychosomatic component for me.

It's just OK
The active ingredient is salicylic acid which can be found in the cheaper clear start line by dermalogica. I've used that line and it seems just as effective, if not more, than the age bright line. This serum however will last a while and it smells pretty good. It's just pricey.

Heavy scent, caused breakouts
I really wanted to love this, but it was a total miss for my skin. It does have a strong scent to it, and not one that was pleasant or that I could get used to - it really lingers, even when only applied to small areas of the face. The texture and feel is that of an oil, not a serum. It feels oily going on, and seemed to make my pores clogged and blackheads worse, not better.
