DCL Dermatologic Cosmetic Laboratories SA Scalp Therapy Shampoo eases the discomfort of an irritated, itchy scalp. The exfoliating shampoo features a potent dose of active salicylic acid to promote the shedding of dead skin cells. With each wash you balance your scalps sebum production to clarify your scalp.
Mild enough for daily use, this advanced formula fights inflammation and redness to provide lasting comfort. Essential oils and botanical extracts leave strands soft, shiny and manageable and your scalp clear of product buildup and dandruff. Ideal for itchy scalps, psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis.

Wet hair thoroughly, then pour a generous amount of shampoo into palm; rub hands together to create a rich lather, and massage into scalp working your way down to ends of hair. Follow with DCL Strengthening Conditioner and face the day with a beautifully clear head.

Great for scalp psoraisis!
I suffer from terrible scalp psoriasis. My scalp can get flaky and painfully itchy. I have had prescription shampoos that do not work as well as this product. It gives my scalp instant relief and keeps the itching and flaking at bay for days. I use this around once a week as it can be drying to my hair but this is a miracle for an itchy scalp!

Not a miracle cure, but helpful
My seasonal eczema was particularly bad this year and this shampoo provided a great amount of relief. I do have to use it in tandem with scalp moisturizer, but the itchiness and flakiness has been greatly reduced. It is true this shampoo is a bit drying, I just used a little extra conditioner on the ends of my hair.

Hair was like straw but my scalp was clean
I recently developed some very tiny red bumps that developed into plaques at the base of my scalp. I didn't experience itching but I could sense them there, ergo my constant picking at them. There was some thick draining at times and then scabbing or just areas of scabs but I never had a history of anything but dry skin in my life. My diagnosis was foliculitis but two doctors said it appeared exactly like psoriasis. I decided to try this shampoo to keep my scalp free from future debris and breakout. The scent is a very subtle citrus note that I found pleasant but I am not bothered by scented products. The shampoo is more viscous in texture with a slight yellow tint. I liked that there was little color and the thicker texture allowed me to apply only to my scalp. I prefer to only apply cleanser at my scalp to avoid drying out the ends. Runnier formulas tend to require full head application that I have to work end to root. I have a massive amounts of thick straight hair that is very healthy. I recently forgot my shampoo and conditioner after a day of snorkeling. To my surprise, even after washing my hair with bar soap it was shiny and manageable. This shampoo definitely left my scalp clean but unfortunately left my hair feeling like straw! I could not manage a comb through it even after using detangling spray and neem oil! I had to rewash with a softening cleanser at my scalp, spread coconut oil through to my ends and shampoo with my favorite moisturizing shampoo and conditioner combo.
