My Go-To Moisturizer
I used to think I had dry skin but with the help of a good aesthetician, I realized that I have normal to oily skin (with some mild rosacea). I just needed some exfoliation and better products. New Favorite Daily Moisturizer
I have sensitive, blemish-prone, combination skin so everything I try on my face is always a gamble. However, I really like this moisturizer. I usually wear moisturizers under my makeup, and by midday my face is always ridiculously oily. However, with this moisturizer I don't have to blot my face until the end of a 10 hr day. It does look a little greasy during the application process, but that disappears pretty quickly. I use this day and night, and the blotchy redness of my cheeks has actually diminished significantly! This texture of the moisturizer seems to be somewhere between a cream and a gel, which I really like. I wouldn't say that this product has had any significant impact on my acne since I use a different product for that, but it certainly hasn't made my skin worse. The scent is a bit strong (I'm assuming it's the birch sap, and personally I quite like it), but thankfully the scent hasn't had any adverse effects on my skin. The dispenser mechanism is pretty great; the moisturizer doesn't suddenly squirt out at you, and I haven't had any clogging problems with the pump. A little bit of this product goes a long way.

Made my skin more oily
My combo acne prone skin didn't like this. Made my T zone overproduce oil. That area of skin wouldn't stay hydrated for more than 30 minutes and I would need to put a different moisturizer over it. I didn't realize it had tea tree oil in it when I bought it but the overdrying/irritation from that is probably what caused it. I started using this at the same time as the Cosrx good morning cleanser and I got a really bad breakout on my chin from these products.

Not 100% oil free
Although this was a nice cooling and hydrating moisturizer, it is not 100% oil free. It has some essential oils at the end of the ingredient list. I liked it, but i would probably try something else next time, as it was not doing much for my pores as it claimed it would. It did feel calming when first applied but over time, i feel like my skin will be sensitized to essential oils.

lovely smell
