No noticed improvement, occasional outbreak
tried for a month. Thought the occasional outbreaks world pass and Id see results. months later nothing. Gave up.

Awesome product needs better packaging
I purchased both this and the whitehead power liquid. Both serums are effective although I find this one to be stronger and better for my combination skin. I use it on my t-zone. Using this helps soften blackheads and oil trapped in my pores, especially in conjunction with retinol/lactic acid and exfoliation. The pump broke though after 4x of use which is a drag, but the product is awesome and very effective.

Not the best acid IMO
I had heard so much about this brand's BHA Blackhead Power Liquid, give it a try which have salicylic acid, another BHA. I think this formulation was just weaker than what my skin/I was used to, so I didn't notice any difference, and in fact it felt gentler than the 2% Stridex pads I had been using. However, due to its weaker formulation it was also not as effective for keeping my acne at bay-my skin was less healthy while using this than when I had used other stronger BHA formulations. The product itself is very much like water, with a faint willow bark scent. Very pleasant, goes on easily when you pat it on with hands or a cotton ball. Since it is so much like water it was a bit harder to pat it on when I dispensed the product onto my hands-I had to cup my hands so it wouldn't drip off before I could raise my palms to my face. After application my face didn't feel too tacky and I could easily layer on my toner, moisturizer, and sunscreen. Bottom line, I would recommend for people starting to try acids or a BHA, but then if your skin isn't sensitive you could probably handle a harder-hitting formulation.

Not Good at All
This product doesn't do anything other than hydrate my skin. I am giving it 2 stars because it doesn't strip the skin and keeps it hydrated. Anyway, this doesn't do anything for your breakouts, willow bark is related to salicylic acid but all it does is calm irritation and inflammation not get rid of acne but this product doesn't actually do that either, don't waste your money! Oh and it's thick and greasy and takes very long to sink into the skin.

good for everyone
everyone needs an acid in their routine. However, it's important not to use it everyday. I started using this product and was hooked! Then I used it pretty often, and I started getting flare ups/more acne. This is because my skin barrier was definitely taking a hit from all the acidic exfoliation. Now I used this 1x or 2x a week and it definitely does the job.

Gentle but works!
Loved this. Used a few times a week like it says, don't do it every day. It'll dry out your skin and cause your skin to Overproduce oil. Defeats the purpose. I use with my hands as an essence instead of with a cotton pad.
