Very gentle exfoliant for beginners
I bought this for my partner to use to prevent ingrown hairs from shaving and to lighten up some areas of scarring and pigmentation. It has helped to smooth his skin a little bit and it's not irritating, but that's about it. It's not really providing the results he was hoping for in terms of brightening and he still gets some blemishes and ingrowns. I think he may need to move on to something stronger after he finishes this product.

Doesn't melt whitheads!!
I have large pores on my nose, which clog with whiteheads all the time. I had great hopes for this product, but am very disappointed. I kept trying it, not realizing I had only 60 days to return a product which does not work. I have been using it a few times a week since mid August, and have seen NO improvement on the whitehead or pores situation. Too late to return an expensive product!

Not For Me
Others rave about this product, so thought I'd give it a try...wish I hadn't. I woke up the next day with bright red skin and painful bumps underneath my skin. I never get reactions from products so I was shocked it happened. I've used AHAs before many times, but win't be using this one again. I think Cosrx just isn't my brand. The snail mnuchin essence did absolutely nothing for me. Think I'm done with Cosrx.

There can be a lot of BS in the world of skincare, but I love this brand for keeping their products affordable, irritant-free, and potent - i.e. the main ingredient that is advertised on the label is actually high on the ingredients list - this AHA is no exception. I like to apply it on damp skin directly after cleansing to optimize absorption of whichever serums/moisturizers follow, every few days and only at night because AHAs make your skin more sensitive to sun exposure. It's a 7% glycolic acid so it elicits a clear, though not painful, tingle to my dry/combo skin, and the change to my skin is apparent with every use - it makes my skin more even in terms of both texture and discoloration. This is one product in a pretty small list of must-haves in my kit!

I love this glycolic acid serum! I apply it with a cotton pad about five nights per week and it has been working wonders for my skin tone and acne. I love that it doesn't have fragrance, dye, or alcohol. No irritation so far.

This needs to be a smaller bottle. I was surprised that it was over 3 oz considering it's more of a spot/area treatment and not an entire face treatment. I didn't see my pores tighten because of this product (I don't think any products do that). I don't see as much whiteheads although I can't be positive it's because of this product but it definitely didn't create more whiteheads.

Love the texture of my sensitive skin after just a few days
I am a loyal skinsceuticals customer. I purchased the bha/aha toner, Whitehead serum, snail mucin, snail cream, and the pha moisture renewal cream. I am still using skinsceuticals CE Ferulic. My skin has made a noticeable improvement in less than a week. I have cystic acne that I has dried up. My scars have lightened, my clogged pores on my forehead are gone, my skin is bright and more refreshed. It looks less dry. I'm using all of this both day and night. It's a lot to put on my face, but it works. The white head serum is light and doesn't burn my sensitive skin or leave a residue. You can see it picking up the dead skin cells on the cotton pad. I have noticed great improvement in the texture of my forehead. So far so good. There is more I want to buy, but Dermstore does not have the full line.

This AHA is very effective and better than more expensive ones. It gets rid of dead skin and exfoliates well, leaving my skin smooth. Just make sure to wear sunscreen after using this.
