Cosmedix Purity Detox Scrub sloughs away dead skin cells to reveal newer and brighter skin underneath. When mixed with water, this powder formulation, featuring a blend of poppy, jojoba and date seeds, naturally refines your texture to prevent blemishes and blackheads. Salicylic acid also works as an antibacterial to cleanse and tighten your pores.

Great Addition for Smooth Skin
After recovering from perioral dermatitis, I was very hesitant to use anything abrasive on my sensitive skin. Recognizing I needed a gentle exfoliant to remove dry flakes and to control breakouts, I gave this product a try. Starting with 1x week, then gradually increasing to 2x week, I noticed my skin looked healthier and more vibrant. A gentle massage of the product is effective to achieve results. If a heavy hand is used, you may notice a bit of irritation as some of the particles can be abrasive and scratch the skin. The scrub is a powder that suds up well with water. I would not recommend using it daily or every other day as it can make the skin feel a bit dry and tight when used too frequently.

Good Surprise
Not exactly what I was expecting! I don't think I read very closely that it was a loose exfoliant- to be mixed with water or face wash. In other words- you actually have to make the exfoliant wash. Very easy, and good results! Not a bad surprise!

Great exfoliating cleanser
